Steph don't have the best gear, but it is certainly better than most of the Sams sitting around lfg in WG on Cerb. Go check a few Sath, we have so many wtf Sams it's ridiculous. Also grats Steph, I'm glad I got you to come to Cerberus. Told you it would be easy to get them here. ^^

Sath you severly overrate pickup AH dds.

Any comment about stephano himslf aside, solely his gearsets on their own are miles above a pickup "AH Sam"'s gear, I'm sorry.

(What that says is something about the quality of your average pickup sam);

Your aidea of a typical pickup AH Sam is obviously something along the lines of: Hagun, capped STP merits, haiadate, dusk gloves and sniper NQ, a swift belt, PCC, and a foragers. Or soething else similar. You are completely over-rating pickup melees.
Your average AH sam undoubtably wont hve stp merits, will have spent all his gil on a hagun because "its the best" without caring about any of his other slots, and probably uses shit like hachiman legs, chiv chain, probably some askar and fuck, half wont even gear swap.

Average AH SAM uses Shinsoku and has no idea what "6 hit" even means. But they will act like the TP Drain on Shinsoku is better than meriting Store TP.

Edit: Also TPing in str rings that aren't Rajas.

I'm not sure what gimps you've meet but they are certainly worse then what I have ever seen.

Remora (now Leviathan) doesn't get any of that fancy +1 gear or Cuch Mantles or whatever on its gimps. Most of the gimpass AH SAMs I've seen are in the order of:

Shinsoku/Sword Strap/-/Seashell
Wyvern Helm/Chiv Chain/Heims Earring/Attila Earring
Domaru/Hachiman/Ruby/Ruby
NQ Amemet/Warwolf/Hachi/Fuma

Maybe doing stuff like swapping Wyvern for Askar, or Domaru for Haub, or having an Intruder Earring for some reason, but it's never enough to bring them near to the level you posted.

And no, I'm really not joking on the earrings. I see Heims Earring everywhere for some reason (seriously run into like 5-10 DDs who fulltime it).

What Shen posted would be an "above average pickup" to me, which says something about the low standard I hold an "average" pickup samurai to be considering it's not using an ideal GKT 6-hit set-up for someone without Usukane. Narol's second post is more like what I expect, and what I see.

think ppl are mixing up AH sam as the basic sam you see standing around (semi gimped) and a AH sam who has bought nearly everything they can from the AH.

on phoenix an average sam has haidate, nq hauby and no merits(or 6hit)
