Not very happy that I'm going to be out of town during the Boston show.
I caught it last April in NY and I've been wanting to go again since.
At the behest of my wife, I have meet-and-greet tickets for the late-March show in St. Louis, MO!
What are you supposed to do with them at a meet-and-greet anyway <_<? All I can think of is bring something to get an autograph on. Hello... Japanese... guy... I don't know how well you speaka the Englisha...
Debating grabbing tickets for STL but that's the same weekend as Andrew W.K. back up here, that's a little much for a two day span lol.
I'll be going to the Boston show in a couple weeks. Looking forward to it!
They sell an awesome program at those concerts, you could buy one before the show and get that signed...
We have tickets but both wife and I are sick. So we will not be making it to the show tonight. Going to give them to two friends of ours.Huzzah! Off to PA! I can only hope Nobuo will be there to surprise everyone..

Got my tickets for St. Louis in the mail today. 5 hour drive but it'll probably be the only one I ever go to so definitely worth it for a 'once in a lifetime' event.
For those going to the StL show: On the Friday show it has the songs listed and broken up into 3 'sections'. An opening section, a 'distant worlds' section, and a 'melodies of life' version. It looks like the play list is longer than saturday. Does this mean anything? Like in some venues do they do 'distant worlds' and some the songs from 'melodies of life'? If not why is it broken up like that when saturdays is not? Here is the page

Distant Worlds and Melodies of Life just have longer names, they take up an extra line.
And the setlist is like that the first day because they only have the choir for that day. They have the guitarist the second day. Try to go to both if you can, but day 1 is probably the better setlist.
At Los Angeles, they sold a 9x12 glossy program that included biographies of the conductor and composers, a set list for the entire concert series, and a synopsis of all of the games to date (I-XIV) along with some pictures. They sold it right inside the main door, and I think it was somewhere around $20. Worthwhile for me because it's kind of pretty, although the black pen smears on the paper so you have to be careful with it afterward so that the writing doesn't smudge.
Also, if you are bringing something to sign, expect to only be allowed to have them sign ONE item. Someone at LA brought an armful of OSTs that he expected to be signed, and I believe he was a little disappointed in the end.
And remember to bring your camera to take a picture; try not to blink, because you may not get a second chance if the line's running long.
When I got stuff signed in NY, I was like 6th in line? Had a couple things I wanted signed, people ahead of me got a ton of stuff signed, then they decided 1/person after they looked at the line. I was piiiisssseeeddd.
That program has to be relatively recent, they didn't have it in NY in April. And in Chicago in '09 they had an art book.
Was an awesome show!
My GF who knows very little of the franchise had a great time too; she loved Eyes on Me, and Zanarkand.
Picked up a program, shirt and the DVD for the hell of it.
They of course started off with the Victory Fanfare (actually Bombing Run was first before Arnie did the whole "Hello" deal), and ended with One Winged Angel.
Though I was worried at first because they didnt have a choir to do it. To my surprise they involved the audience with the vocals, and it was really fun, everyone was really in to it.
They really need to pick a new video for it XI, it wasnt the best representation of it.
The Opera was really fun too, everyone enjoied it.
The musicians recieved a near 3 minute standing ovation, with Arnie and everyone comping out numerous times and going back in. They finally had to turn the lights on to get people to leave lol.
When walking out I overheard the ushers saying that that was the best audience theyve ever seen, and thats something I've heard about the Distant World tours. Arnie had the musicians stand after pretty much every song, and at the end you could tell by their faces that they never expected the sort of turn out they did, and the amount of applause they recieved.
It was simply amazing, and hopefully they'll be coming closer to Ohio next year when they start doing their 25 year tour with new music!
You could probably get someone planning to go to an upcoming venue to pick up a copy and send one to you. They're not that expensive and shipping should be pretty cheap.
Some pictures, I guess it's technically more an art book than a program, but there's plenty of concert details inside (sorry for floor, desk is a mess):

Or look on Amazon? See it there right now.
I went to Chicago '09 and they totally had a black program/artbook as well as t-shirts and some other stuff, I got a shirt and the book. I haven't cracked open that book in a while though, wish I would have brought it down to Columbus with me, it's very pretty...
When I went to the one in Dallas we got the black one as well as a couple shirts and a cd, can't believe they didn't they have em at your show mines stll in the shrink wrap.
