just because something requires skill doesn't mean it can't also be broken.

But it isn't, in my opinion. Lunging 10 feet to 1 shot someone is fine (to an extent) to me, it's the fact that they ignore bullets that's the broken part, in my mind. Noone complains about the AA-12 death machine, do they?

Pretty sure that twitter post is a joke. Anyone with vast experience and knowledge of this game knows that running around with a sniper is the easiest way to die no matter what level of skill you are. There has never, even been a time where a sniper and automatic weapon user have been on a level playing field and the sniper won a majority of the time; with comparable accuracy, the automatic weapon user should almost always win. Yes, it does abuse aim assist to a great extent but a developer would have to be a fucking idiot to remove an aspect of the game that appeals to a size-able audience.

If not, then sniping/quickscoping just got a little harder and I'm ok with that. I started sniping for the challenge and I'll be content if the challenge bar is raised another level.

In OXM or OPM they mentioned that they took away challenges and callsign/emblem rewards and replaced it with contracts and custom callsign/emblems only or at least that was certainly the impression they gave. Unless you meant noobtube contracts, but I'm fairly certain there's no way to "complete" them since they constantly reset.

Nah. Going by the amount of sniping montages, compared to others, you're only good at CoD if you quickscope. Even if you go 80-2 that just means you were probably camping or using some unfair method to get that score.

^ Basically that. The only gameplays worth watching are quickscoping gameplays. They're more entertaining. Montages will always be sniping with the occasional ridiculous spas spree thrown in like IReapz does.
