the government resigned fully, but all the politicians are now arguing over the validity of a new election because the Flemish won't accept an election outcome unless the electoral zones are "fixed" first, and that was the whole reason the government collapsed in the first place (arguments about the electoral zones in Brussels).

The little gnome! Had that a week or so ago, was very good

Colorado is a state that's big on beer, the New Belgium brewery is here and they make some pretty fucking solid beer. But a lot of the upscale liquor stores get pint bottles of good Belgian beer, we also have a cool little pub called The Cheeky Monk which strictly sells Belgian beer and food. It's a bit pricey but it's def worth it.

Yeah! I love the little gnome :D Also good are Cuvée des Trolls, and the Forestinne line. I haven't seen Forestinne much outside Belgium though, but it's amazingly good, lots of spices in the flavour which gives it amazing complexity. Double thumbs up :D

Another couple of good old favourites are Maredsous, Grimbergen, and Duvel. I actually often prefer the "artisanale" beers to the trappistes.

Oh god and if you ever see it, try some traditional lambics like Faro (not the sweet beer stuff they call lambics, but the real stuff). I doubt you'll get it outside Belgium though because it is a travesty to public health in the way they make it. It smells fucking awful but tastes awesome. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lambic

Great, thanks for the rec's! I've had Duvel a few times that's only like $7 for a pint here but not sure about the others. Will have to try them asap!
