TAL was formed a long while back by only a few core members who basically, were tired of the bullshit in other HNM linkshells. Over quite some time TAL grew to be the strongest force on Ramuh with kill counts surpassing what many of the current linkshells on Ramuh (Some that were around during TAL's time, also) have still yet to topple. TAL was and always will be a relatively close-knit group of players who strived to be the best at what we did and not accept excuses for failures. With the relics, gear, and all around great community TAL produced it was no wonder so many wanted to be a part of the linkshell. Several months ago I departed from FFXI and with that, many were burnt out badly. Many did not care to attempt to carry the flame known as TAL, so the ls was disbanded.

7 months or so later, FFXI has been renewed for myself and I have found many core ex TAL members still lingering around. I decided to bring as many of them as I could back together, combined with some fresh new talent to create the community we all came to know and love on Ramuh.

The focus of the linkshell will remain on the end game scene just as it was before. If you're interested in being a part of it all feel free to read the LS schedule, requirements, and some general information about the linkshell below. Once your done w/ that if your still interested slide over to the application template and get it submitted!

Anyone that knows me from the past with running TAL knows I am fair, all the way down the line as best as I can be. I look forward to hearing/meeting any of you who apply. As mentioned previously, thanks for your interest

LS Schedule

Sunday - Sea Farm @ 2pm EST / Limbus @ 9pm EST
Monday - Uninvited Guests @ 8PM EST / Free Evening
Tuesday - VNM's @ 6pm EST (Non Mandatory unless Tier 3 or above) / Einherjar @ 10pm EST
Wednesday - Limbus @ 9pm EST / Alternating weekly w/ ZNM Runs **IF** there are Tier 3+ pops to do.
Thursday - Sea Farm @ 7pm EST / Alternating each week w/ Free evening
Friday - Ouryu/Bahamut/Upper Tier VNM's/Member Event
Saturday - Einherjar @ 7pm EST / Dynamis @ 8:30pm EST

Requirements

- If you are on PC, willingness to utilize 3rd party tools provided by the linkshell is a BIG plus but not absolutely required. I put this here to emphasize how big of a plus this is for your application, though.
- Multiple 75 Jobs preferably one being a mage - The bottom line on this is we just can't have a bunch of melee onry. If you have melee onry and say, PLD? You're fine.
- All Expansions installed (Including all ADD-ON scenarios so that you have your Nexus Cape)
- All Outposts pertaining to RotZ Kings
- Bahamut v2 Access
- Sea Access
- Preferably Xarcabard/Tavnazia access - Will be a bit more easy on not having Tav access but Xarcabard is almost a must.
- Do Dynamis with the linkshell. Currently that is only once a week but this could change in the future.
- Must be willing to wear your TAL pearl at all times online - You will not become part of the family if you only use it when it's best for you
- Must be willing to drop w/e you are doing and assist the linkshell
- Be willing to come w/e job is needed by the LS in which this means to recognize what job the LS uses you for the most and have this job ready to go in Satchel at all times in the event of an HNM popping.
- Be willing to camp long windows of HNM's such as Fafnir/KB/Aspid/SW/DI and the like. If you don't enjoy killing those things and the time require to claim those things, this is not for you.

General Information

- The LS is ran off of a points based system that in my several years of running the ls always proved to be fair. The points system is kept up with and accessible via the DKP system that you can find @ http://www.theafterlifels.com/dkp -* There is some work left to be done w/ the DKP system but it's coming along and will be ready by the LS's launch*-
- The LS utilizes Ventrilo daily. I would suggest that you make a solid effort to do so also. It's not required but being able to speak freely during events makes things roll much smoother. Not to mention Ventrilo can usually be quite a blast w/ the crew we have
- Once the LS bank has been built we will be looking into relic funding. At this time the focus is to build the bank properly to support the member base.
- HNM Camps will take priority over scheduled events. The only one's that may not take priority will be NQ only Behemoth/Adamantoise days. Again, if you enjoy end game/HNM this is for you. If you do not, it's probably not for you.

A couple items to notate:

- My main goal of this post is to attempt to attract daytime players. We will take some evening players if you are a good fit for the group so dont be deterred but mostly I see the need for daytime individuals eager to join in this venture.

- This is essentially a fresh start, so to speak. Sackholders have yet to be determined and will be handed out based on performance across the first few weeks to a month so while the group includes many ex-TAL members, it's an equal shot for everyone who starts on the front end. Many are transferring from several different servers in this joint effort, so don't be shy

I can say that I honestly enjoyed being in this linkshell before it broke in '09. The main reason was because the shellholder isn't one of those wishy-washy sometimes does sometimes doesn't enforce rules types.

So if you are seeking structure where things get done, apply here. A lot of good players there, you can't go wrong honestly.

I'd still be there if it hadn't broken originally.
