BMW iDrive/Ipod question.

Maybe someone here can answer my question. I recently got a new BMW 550i 2010 GT, connecting my Ipod to the car's iDrive system will read, play and display all the song/artist/album information but it refuses to read the playlists. This basically relegates me to picking albums or tracks specifically which is annoying as hell. Now I've tried renaming the playlists in iTunes with the format from the old iDrive versions like BMW1"XXX" and so on, still no dice.

Anyone by any chance happens to know what the problem is?

Not sure what the problem is, but it works fine in my car. You may need to take the car to BMW to see if anything is wrong with your iDrive, but my playlists all work in mine.
