DirectX10 refuses to work. (Fixed, Asus GamerOSD sucks.)

    It's ... annoying

    Windows 7 x64
    GTX260 (Dx10 compatible) 197.45 Nvidia

Everytime I try to launch a game in fullscreen using DirectX10 (Crysis, BFBC2 to name a few) it just crashes out, however when I launch them in DX10 with windowed mode it works (but I can't tell if it's using DX10 and playing in a window is...bad).
DX9 works perfectly in both modes.

I don't mind sticking to DX9 but that's about the only reason I installed Win7.

I've tried every package available on microsoft except the 500mb SDK which I'm downloading currently and none of them change anything.

    Halp.

Culprit was Asus GamerOSD, uninstalled and rebooted and it works flawlessly now.

Only issue is I used OSD for the small FPS counter Q_Q

Try EVGA Precision if you want a replacement, use google to get a DL without having to register at EVGA, it's basically Rivatuner but a little more user friendly (can monitor FPS, temps, mem usage, etc).

Edit: of coarse there's also FRAPs but I take it you wasn't using it for a reason.

FRAPS FPS counter is too big :< ... Using Rivatuner FPS counter atm and it's not too bad.
