I had a boyfriend who shaved his entire body. It was extremely peculiar. And stubbly.

Max, are Gillete Fusions any good? Right now I'm using a Gillete Mach 3 turbo and wondering if I should switch to a Fusion instead since I'm on my last razor.
On the topic of shaving, I use a Gillette fusion. Slightly on topic regarding shaving stuff... pictured below is a friend from school during the playoffs (he figured the beard was too normal);http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/6...7625244081.jpg
Behold, Firas, in the West, men shave their legs. Cower for you know not what you see.
Posting to also support the idea of trying an electric razor.
I used to always hear that electric razors weren't worth it because our legs would wear down the blades too fast. I wanted to try one though cause I'm a hairy bitch when it comes to my legs. So I bought some cheap female one for like $20 at CVS, and I've been using it for 6 months now and loving it. The blades are starting to dull (no shit for $20), but I figure once they get really bad I'm going to replace it with a more high-end one.
Definitely is faster/smoother, and I have yet to cut myself with it.
Shaving normally bugs the shit out of me, due to a couple of weird ass patches under my jaw where nothing grows, only ever nicked myself there, never did with the Fusion.
Also tended to go from a couple of strokes to a single stroke + get any hairs to the side I missed, dunno if it's just the five blades, the gel, or the vibration actually helping, but it was by far the least annoying razor I've used.
I'll go ahead and jump on the electric bandwagon. Used non-electric for a month or so when I first started shaving then move to electric and have never looked back.
Incidentally, I use an electric for day to day upkeep, but if I want to get babyface smooth, I bust out a fresh fusion head.
Saw this on the TV a couple weeks ago:

who wants to buy one and test it for us <_<
I'm the opposite. I've never liked electric shavers much ... just don't give me that nice clean post-shave feel and seem to take forever. Been using manual ones since and never looked back.
My sister "borrowed" my Mach 3 once to shave her legs and after that bought one for herself. Same deal with my ex. They both said that they work pretty well.
As far as shaving the nether regions goes, cream and razor works fine for me.
Honestly, as long as the razor is sharp and you spend a few minutes prepping you can get a smooth shave with no cuts unless you try to. Hot water/towel soaking, an actual shaving cream/soap, Nivea for Men shave gel, or even hair conditioner will also make shaving much much easier.
