Though Konami's co-op vamp-slayer, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is now being touted as a proud participant in the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade promotion, a PSN version of the title may not be out of the question. In an E3 interview with Destructoid, producer Koji Igarashi explained "there might be a possibility with that. I hope this one sells, and then we can think about PSN."

So, there you have it, PS3 fans. If you want the best chance of getting Harmony of Despair on your platform of choice, all you have to do is first buy it on XBLA. Easy enough, right?

Yeah, it's ok so far. Nothing overly spectacular. Can't really comment on multiplayer as I've yet to try it myself.

Dunno, but it's awesome and forces you to actually make use of the zoom function, unless you enjoy getting fucked out of nowhere.

Probably because it's the first boss in Dawn of Sorrow that actually required some pattern recognition to beat.

Beat the game on normal with a friend, but hard mode was stomping the shit out of us. It's a huge step up with just two people. And none of my friends like Castlevania, ha.

i got the lightning bolt glyph from a witch (the floating ones) and nercus from a green skelet in stage 5. Have to say lightning bolt is shanoas best attack with the fireballs together. lightning bolts wrecks everything apart (especially knights) and autotargets enemy for 60+ per hit. One of her best attacks, her Mana regeneration is just shit ._.
Fireballs work wonders on big enemys where you can score all 3 hits, especially usefull against wood type and ice type enemys. sends them right back to hell.

then I got a 2. attack weapon, the wind type attack that goes along the ground and is a nice ranged type attack, I think its called pneus. Dropped from the Stage 5 boss I believe (death).

currently stuck on chapter 2 hard mode. the puppetmaster is rocking me hardcore, even in multiplayer. while chapter 1 we did as a trio, but chupter 2 is just ugh... instant kill if he catches you with a puppet (and they dont drop THAT easy anymore).

I have an accessory for Shanoa that regens mana with each step crazy fast, but I haven't found anything yet that really makes her shine. Though it seems like everyone really loves her, I'm just not there yet.

I spent 4-5 hours beating it on normal with another player and we stopped to take a break before working on new characters and harder difficulty.

1200 Microsoft points. There's only 6 stages (and I believe each has a 30 min timer at most), so potentially very short. From what I've heard though the difficulty is pretty nuts, especially on Hard mode. So you're expected to replaygrindan forever. Meant to pick it up, but none of my European friends have done so and I'm worried about lag playing with US friends. Anyone who did happen to pick it up tried playing with people overseas?
