    Looking for a software name

OK at my old job, they had a software running on all PC that, you could program with program names and if the name wasn't in the list the program would auto uninstall.

Exemple The user has Skype and Firefox install, and both the programs arn't on the list.

When the user reboot the PC the 2 programs uninstall themselves.

Anyone knows that program (to implement on a Domain so we are ready to pay some $$$ for it)

I know this isn't what you asked, but in the long run if you're running a domain in a work environment (presumably) where you don't want users to have control over what they install, you ought to implement this with group policies and not allowing users to be admins on their own machines.

The main problem with what you're looking for sounds like the fact that it only removes the program on reboot, I wonder if it has some sort of auditing built in? else the person could just keep reinstalling the program every reboot and using it until they had to reboot again.

We are a little company working for other compagnies, before we came in, they all had admin rights and install some programs.

So in GPO we changed the passwords and all. I know it could go fast with Ghost but we kinda don't want to reformat 400PC lol. We know that the PC are virus spyware free, it's just that they had complete control before we arrive, and we are changing that, like we implemented Websense and all

Thats why i like virtual PC's. Let them fuck those up all day long and you can find out who is doing what they shouldn't instead of just uninstalling the problem at the end of the day. Just means thats more time every morning they have to reinstall the shit they shouldn't be downloading in the 1st place lol.

If you want to use a microsoft product:

    http://www.microsoft.com/systemcente...en/us/sms.aspx

    If not:

    http://www.landesk.com/

edit: may be a bit much for what you need though
