To me the crazy people are the ones who go to college so they can work at a desk or in a lab somewhere. The situation is almost reversed from Shiro's perspective, except I don't go out of my way to ridicule people for their life choices. idk

Yea, it's strange, you assume there is some form of solidarity between social and natural science because they're sciences, but then POW, they rip into you at a moment's notice. Fortunately for me, i already know what i intend to do with my degrees.

Anyway, shiro seems to have informed me that it has less with natural science attracting selfish pricks, and more to do with the way they study, the institutional level i suppose is a good way to call it. I am brainstorming up a social experiment already.

Oh man, I was thinking about this and all I can think of is how to rank them by purity and XKCD already did that although it was a bit inadequate.

Once again, I'm not speaking about my own views but most natural science people don't view social science as science at all.
