Some guy at where I work always talks about how he wants to have at least one son before he has any daughters because he wants to "train" the sons to "protect" the daughter's from guys and generally protect their virginity. I told him it sounded like that he is putting property values on the vaginas of his potential daughters, as if he owned their vaginas. He said that his daughters wouldn't be allowed to have sex until they're married but his sons will be encouraged. I wasn't sure if he was trolling me or not but he's a walking sexual harassment suit waiting to happen.

This dude also said that he thinks women should choose death before being raped when he was talking about women carrying guns as a rape preventative. I had suggested that the guns would just be taken away and used to kill the women. False sense of security and all that.

I would probably kill for my family, but in the end, that just seems too quick and uneventful. First, I'd have to have some fun. Really test waterboarding, sleep deprivation, etc. Then would come the really fun stuff; cutting off fingers, cuts to the body for pain but not death, oh and babmboo under the fingernails that are still attached; shit like that. Only way I might kill is if I caught something crazy happening, murder, torture or the like, and that is still a big fucking might. If it had already happened and I had to go looking for said person, most they would get is a good fucking kicking. If my family was in imminent danger from another person, sure. It's easier to justify when they have a weapon and are actively trying to use it on a family member.

On the other hand, if I knew this person was a threat and they had every intention of killing a family member, but they weren't currently here trying to do it, it'd be harder to bring myself to do something so drastic. But then again, it's probably also a good time to stay with your family and call the cops.

Now, if they did nothing in response to the threat, yet I knew deep inside this guy would carry through when I'm not around to protect them, I'm not sure what I'd do.
