Not really a sale, but I bought this neat game Quest Runner earlier this week for $1.99 and it's pretty cool. Kinda a side scrolling casual RPG with neat art and good humor, it was a lot of fun. Oh and it's a universal app:

Anyone ever play Spelunk? It seems like a cross between those mining games and a KRPG, seems like something I'd really like but I don't wanna find out it's needlessly complex/difficult or something. I did pick it up for free a few weeks back so I guess I can give it a go.

Apparently Mortal Kombat got patched and you can now play as all 23 characters. Its also $.99 for both iphone and ipad. Don't know if that's a sale price or not, but its still a great value.

It is a freemium game but it's totally unobtrusive, as you don't need to spend money on anything and you can easily earn the "bucks" by just playing the game instead of leaving it. It's a shitload of fun and soooo addictive. And the graphics are awesome too.

Gameloft had a sale like this when they released their games on the android platform months back, somehow the games went missing and you could not download them and came back and their normal pricing. In other words ya had to rebuy it lol. I had back ups but others where not so lucky.

Wish the iphone crew better luck. maybe apple has a fail safe in place for this sorta thing, ^^ some of their games really are a lot of fun.

I meant to get SFIV Volt, but I forgot to DL it the first day and then... like they said... the price went up a dollar. Stupid idea to only give it .99 for the first day of release and then raise it a dollar each day until it reaches it's regular price. I'll just wait until its back to .99

Are there actual visual differences in Volt compared to vanilla? They seemed to have axed first-gen iPhone/iPod from this iteration, even though I'm seeing nothing new in the screenshots, it's just a straight-up 2d fighting games.

Oh well... Picked up Worms2 when it was on sale for a buck yesterday. That shit is bananas, and they brought back the older tunes I liked over that cheery-shit Team17 been using the last decade in the series. I only wish it had a map editor.

Only diff is online play and more characters afaik. But I hear online play is retarded since there is no counter for people who dc during a match, and 90% of the ppl dc when they are losing since all you have to do is pres your home button

Whelp, wish I knew I had to be there to stock shit in Tiny Tower. Went to bed thinking it was automated since I didn't want to wait 30min, and I came back to it 10hrs later only making 200 coins off existing stock. Oh well, lesson learned.

I like the game's setup. Slow paced, but operating in real time. How do you earn bucks btw? I seem to get them at random.

Currently saving up for a fifth floor to get some jobs for my people since they're all unhappy working in retail/restaurant. Any benefit to keeping them happy?
