Good news everyone Final Fantasy Tactics has been submitted, http://www.facebook.com/SquareEnixDLG. Should come out next week on wednesday or thursday.

In the meantime Groove coaster came out yesterday and is on sale for 1$. From the creator of Space invaders infinity gene (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/space...323665063?mt=8) Its a psychedelic music game that has you touch or do touch gestures to the music.

lol FFT finally, they have been saying it's going to be released for sooo long now.

Has anyone updated Tiny Tower? I kinda hate that the dream job bonus is only 1 buck now, but I understand why they did it. I'm not going to update until I get up to 10 of every floor though, with everyone in their dream job lol. Supposedly they added a higher chance for elevator riders to tip bux, but eh. They did add some nice features though:

-No notification with the fully stocked bonus, and they removed the dialog box when you restock a floor, making it faster to manage your production floors
-New VIP, Real Estate Agent which instantly moves a Bitizen into an empty apartment if you take them there
-5 new businesses (1 of each category, which means there are 85 total, 17 for each category)
-Floors can be renamed
-Tapping on the top of the screen can instantly scroll you to the top of your tower

I forget if they added other stuff but yeah. Supposedly the next update is introducing costumes!

I updated it, I don't understand the dream job thing and gave them a crappy review for it. Could you move people out of their dream jobs then back in or something?

The best part is the redundant dialogs are gone, but it doesn't seem like they tip any more than they used to.

You used to get a 3 buck bonus for dream jobs, so when people got above 50 floors or so they could move people in and have a 50% chance of getting a dream job, put them in a dream job and then evict them, gaining 2 bucks in the process. The more floors you have the higher the chance your new bitizen will have a dream job matching one of your floors, so it was possible to grind up bucks by moving people in and evicting them.

I need more layers of gameplay to continue Tiny Towers. I hit floor 30, and I'm just bored of it now. Same ol' same ol', stock buildings, grind elevator for a couple min, put it away for the rest of the day.

Read somewhere (can't remember where, I think Kotaku) FFT is confirmed for Thursday.

So psyched, day 1 purchase here. Going to be just what I needed for the 9 hour flight I have coming up next week.

Oh God FFT: WotL is finally coming tonight. It should be out in US at about 9 PM PDT, 11 PM EST, and Europe at around 12 AM UK time for 15.99$ USD, 456 MB.

As you can see Lag is gone, but im guessing its not 100% for some of the high end visual moves but it won't be as terrible as psp or ps3 lag. Either way its Final Fantasy Tactics you know you'll buy it. The game also support retina resolution but its not 100% perfect. NOTE the iPad version will be released within a month so wait for that if you have one.

Also Street fighters 4 Volt got updated with 2 new characters, Makoto and Sakura, easier way to get akuma, and a penalty for people who drop out of online matches.

Well, when i read about FFT recommended to run in an iphone4, they weren't kidding. Holy shit it runs horrible on a 3GS. I shoulda figured as much. I'm way disappointed by this. O well.

Yes, very good. If you like the way battlehearts was its like that in a way. It plays a lot better than it looks in videos and has a lot of hours of playtime.

More details, The mechanics are really interesting, you don't keep equipment or levels after a dungeon, when you complete them rather they convert to skill points to buy new skills or improve them and money for permanent artifacts which make you stronger. There are 7 dungeon each with lengthy map sections and lots of mini boss and random objectives. Later on you can repeat old dungeons for a better challenged and revised mobs. The game can be pretty challenging actually, its very noticable early on that mobs especially bosses aren't pushovers.

I didn't want to bump this thread because I didn't really have anything useful to say. But I'm loving the update for Tiny Tower (I think only Atreides still plays) The new elevator is so fast and the costumes make the "find the person" mini game so much easier. lol Sadly though this is how my Volleyball place got accidentally blown up. Hopefully I'll get it again.

So SE announced 4 new iPhone games today, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy Legends: Warriors of Light and Darkness, Demon's Score, and Diffusion Million Arthur.

Can't really say much about chrono except that its coming, Final Fantasy Legends MIGHT be free to play the first chapter with micro transitions to play the rest of the chapters like the JP phone release, Demon Score will use the Unreal Engine and be made by Epic and has super high graphics like Infinity blade but with girls showing ass, DMA will be a super moe rpg game with a card system, it might not be translated though but chrono and FFL will definitely be. Additionally SE will be much more involved with the Andriod/ios market. There also might be some android only games like Dragon Quest Monster but i'm not entirely sure, likely andriod and ios will have a shared catalog in time since they are more or less the same thing.

Devil May Cry 4: Refrain on the Iphone for only .99 cents until November 7th.

Anyone else play Dark Meadow yet? It's kinda like Infinity Blade, although the combat isn't quite as tight and it doesn't seem like there's as much loot. You explore an asylum so it has more of a horror type feel, with enemies that look like creatures from Pan's Labyrinth. The story is told to you over loudspeaker by a (very well voiced) old guy, kinda reminds me of Bioshock the way you feel he's pulling your strings.

Overall I don't feel like this is as well fleshed out as Infinity Blade but I ultimately enjoy it a lot more, it makes the grind feel a lot less grindy when they infuse so much story into it.



They've patched the game since this review came out, now enemies spawn less frequently and they did away with a lot of menus, so the game feels a lot more enjoyable to explore. Anyway, it's probably worth it at 6 bucks but only barely, but if it ever goes on sale it's a must-buy. If you're a fanatic for the style of game Infinity Blade was and can't wait til December 1st for the sequel, Dark Meadow will more than likely scratch your itch for a while.
