I'm waiting till at least tomorrow evening. I'm assuming single player will be exactly like 2, except will not have much, if anything, to contribute to the overall story. I'm only really interested in the multiplayer, and I still haven't been persuaded if it would be anything more than a gimmick that people play for less than a month.

What? How does single player not contribute to the overall story? Single player is the story, just like in every other game in existence.

    Assassin's Creed 1 -> Assassin's Creed 2 -> Assassin's Creed 3.

AC:B floats around between 2 and 3. I'm not saying it wont contribute to the overall story, I'm just saying that if it's just some "filler episode" I'll be less inclined to play it.

Headspace said it best: i just don't want it to feel like I spent 60$ on shit that could've been DLC

I'm sure it will definitely add a lot of Ezio's timeline's story. It remains to be seen how much it contributes to desmond's, but if it is full game sized story for Ezio I don't really see a problem.

Yeah, if it contributes to Ezios in a good way, it's a long game, it's fun, etc then I'm okay with it. I just don't want it to be like Kingdom Hearts. I don't have 4000 systems to keep up with that storyline so I have no idea what's happening with that franchise anymore

I would rather have a game just controlling Desmond after obtaining Ezio's and alltair(?)'s memories.

i kinda really hoped they'd do a WWII era Assassin's Creed, one that was about another ancestor of Desmond in either Japan-occupied Shanghai, or German-occupied France. They could even try to link nazi occultism to the pieces of eden, it'd be pretty sweet. Although that might draw out the desmond story too much so idk, I'd much rather have that storyline resolved than anything.

Why do the Nazis need to be connected to every single ancient relic that can be used for world domination?

Because they're part of the last war where Americans actually felt morally justified.

I apparently have to spoiler this for people who haven't beaten Black Ops. or even care about the game for its single player campaign.
    Spoiler: show
How about the game takes place during the cold war and you are ordered to infiltrate Cuba and take out Castro, but things go wrong and you end up assassinating JFK instead!

    fuck! too late.

gamefly sent this to me today, i will prolly get it wed. and i hope its as long as AC2 because i thought the length of that game was actually perfect overall, if its DLC material i will be disappointed because the gameplay actually looks awesome

Game starts off exactly where 2 ended.
1st CS has a QTE :/ well, not a "press x to not die" qte, but a "smash x a bunch to not fail"
You can taunt now, making it easier to counter/disarm, and horses can be ridden into the towns now (at least your home town)
There are 9DNA sequences, 6 hidden shrines to find.
    some other trophies include:
    Spoiler: show
Destroying a tank, finding all feathers, solving all puzzles, "find 1 arifact in 2012", reach lv50 (multiplayer), get all co-op bonuses in 1 session

aaaaand back to the status quo. everything's exactly the way it was in the beginning of 2. Not that that's a surprise.

camera gets in the way quite a bit when fighting.

I really can't tell any difference so far. Though I've really only fought two groups of people and they were an easy group to kill.
    Been playing Multiplayer.
It's fun. some weird stuff can happen when it comes to people jumping and getting killed at the same time though.

so, in Wanted, it's normally you trying to kill a specific person and someone else trying to kill you. But if you have a high score, you can have multiple people trying to kill you. and if your target is halfway across the map, good luck getting him.

First time I've had this complaint...
There's way to much stuff to do... Most of it being the same things done over and over again. On top of most of the game being exactly the same as AC:2. I'm not bored of it yet, but I can see it happening soon..
Especially disappointing since the trophies aren't really worth putting the time in for. A lot of them are way undervalued.

It's the same game as AC2? I think I can probably live with that lol Just gotta find time to play. I still have Enslaved, Castlevania, and Red Dead on the backlog :<

pretty much the same game. I find that the camera is a lot worse in Brotherhood. objects are always blocking your view.
