Watched my roommate play some multiplayer last night, shit looks so epic. There was one instance of him playing as a priest, chasing his target up a chapel, getting the kill, then jumping off the same chapel and air assassinating his next target that happened to be right below him. Was the most epic shit i've ever seen in online multiplayer.

Really want this game now, probably get it eventually.

Few new things. Major one so far is the new executions which look exceptional. The second largest is execution chaining, which is pretty much spamming square and a direction of an enemy in the middle of a previous executions. Loads of fun for missions that have 10-12 enemies since you just start 1 shotting everything after the first counter and taking a much more aggressive style. New weapons also make some nice changes to the way you want to do things.

Bad things though: They pull a metroid at the beginning of the game.

Counter is still overly strong and you can slide through the game just on that.
For things that you need to take out at range the gun is extremely powerful against every target. You get the gun as a starting weapon and you probably shouldn't.
AI is a little underwhelming. For one of the borgia towers you have to go underground. Usually 2 guards will be on duty at one of the entrances towards the captain. You can target one and shoot him with the gun, hide behind a wall, and the other will just check the body. He will then move back to his guard spot... In which I then gun him down.

So why does the map legend have like Florence Venice etc on it? Can I go to those places in this game? Because if I can, I have yet to find a way and I have the entire map sync'd.

no you don't get to go there. you send your assassins there on missions, but you don't ever actually see the cities. I think you see a few random places for the Leonardo quests, but only a very small area and only for a single quest. and all the Leonardo quests suck ass except for the last one.

and yeah, as much as the gun is overpowered, the crossbow is way way better. it's the gun but with a silencer. Most missions you can just snipe every single person you see if you have enough ammo.
my one complaint thus far in multiplayer is that you can't really hide. the only way you're going to fool your opponent is if your hiding in a crowd of AI who look like you, or if you start getting chased and you break his line of sight and he's unable to see you again before the timer is up.

I can see all of rome and where the map ends lol.

i glitched through the ground earlier and was able to swim under the city, i couldn't go anywhere but under the building i was stuck.

a lot of this game is starting to piss me off. It seems almost every mission now requires you to follow a direct path that's been laid out for you. No improvising, you have to find their path.

too bad there's not really any real use for them. They get you free money, but I have yet to find something I couldn't buy. They're fun to use to kill someone while you just watch, and the occasional back-up, but completely unnecessary. They might be good for getting items, if I ever see an item that I actually need from the missions that is.

im having so much fun with this game, i just got to Leonardo and when i saw you could shoot poison darts i got really happy because poison is awesome
