FYI the best place to get kill streak trophy is the Long Kill Streak Challenge. You get two minutes of infinite amount of guards coming after you.
The kill streak levels are good for getting gld medals too.

for the trophy that requires you to jump off that fortress with the parachute; the mission in sequence 8, "Apple a Day" I think it's called,(the mission where the guy slaps around his sister and infinitely repeats "it's mine!" basically places you right on top of the fortress, all you have to do is climb a single pole.

I actually did that and didn't get the trophy. Too lazy to infiltrate it and try again.

anyone know what the rewards for the guild challenges are? I know for Thieves' Guild the thieves eventually pickpocket from people as they follow you, for the Courtesans they can poison guards, but what do Mercenaries give you? I know one rank up lowers the hiring cost for all 3 factions, and finishing all the guild challenges gives you some decent weapons- La Volpe's Bite (sword), Maria's Dagger, and Bartolomeo's Axe. Anything else I'm not remembering?

I still have 1 more challenge to finish for the Assassin's Guild so I'm not sure what finishing all 5 challenges gives you.

edit: oh you get altair's sword, fucking hot

nothing as far as I can tell, you can just send assassins on missions and manage their skills, like pigeon coops and the map in the hideout.

Also farming bandits using the method I posted earlier really helps a lot if anyone is still doing shop quests. I got my silk/cardinal's purple dye in like 3 day/night cycles lol. Too bad bandits don't seem to drop shrunken heads, although I'm not far enough in the story to get the 2nd guaranteed one so I could probably just be patient.

edit: but each assassin tower (formerly a borgia tower) represents 1 assassin you can recruit, so I guess it's just the icon that changes once you burn the borgia tower down maybe?

The only thing the main assassin's tower is used for that can't be done anywhere else is to increase the rank of your recruits to the rank of assassin. That and look at all the stuff you've collected.

So I did all the assassins guild challenges. How do I get my sword?

Edit: Nvm found it at the lair.

btw to whoever was missing that last feather...

if you go to the menu and then go to DNA -> Additional Memories (all the way to the right) -> Feathers and press A (X on ps3) it'll show you which district your missing feather is in.

edit: oh wait you don't have to press A, but it does break it down by district. I'm missing 1 from Campagna, I assume from one of the areas that are still locked

also Altair's Sword is fucking awesome. 5 damage 5 speed 5 deflect lol

gah, some of these 100% sync shits are so fucking horrible... "Young at Heart" is my least favorite so far, it's the footrace one on rooftops (Thieves Guild quest) but guards keep ruining it by shooting you and knocking you down. It's almost impossible

Also, last night I fixed an aqueduct and unlocked the Lair of Romulus at Terme Di Diocleziano, but when I started the game up today the icon was gone and it said Memory Unavailable. I am just fucked now?

As much as I love AC games it definitely feels like they never really fix any of the complaints people have between games >_>

Brotherhood was probably already at least 50% done by the time 2 came out.
as for if you're fucked or not, idk.

Look up a video of the path for that on youtube. It took me a while but I finally got it. The ones I've hated for 100% were the flying weapon and the tank. I only did them once but they were too long for me to bother going back.

Also AC2 and Brotherhood are essentially the same game continued. There were tons of improvements from 1 to 2. I imagine 3 will be more different also.

Took me about 45 mins of repeating before I got it since I couldn't find a youtube when I got access to it. I wish I could translate how I did it exactly into words but it'd just make it worse. However, it'd make your life easier to kill the first 3 guards with a crossbow because you can keep moving while doing it. After that, even if you get spotted by the other guards, if you line your jumps up along the correct path, they won't touch you.

It's too bad you don't get a trophy for 100%ing everything because I'm a pretty stubborn bastard and I kept doing that tank mission until I got it. Definitely one of my least favorite ones though. I liked the hang-gliding mission but the horse mission is the best machine mission hands down.

I wonder who we'll follow next, it feels like Ezio's storyline is over, especially since there's already a DS game out that takes place 5 years after Brotherhood ended.

I heard rumors of modern (cold war era) Russia as the next one. No idea how valid that was though.

Obviously we'll have to deal with the Nazis. It's common knowledge if there is some all powerful mysterious unknown artifact with supernatural powers capable of destroying the world, the Nazis must be involved.

I would much rather see a european assassin in all of the locations of World War II-- vichy france, germany, japanese occupied shanghai, etc. Although, a Civil War or American Revolution would be pretty neat as well. I think most people are expecting WWII though.

The only issue is that if they do anything after...say, the american revolution they're going to have to change the gameplay to focus a lot more on guns, including allowing you to aim manually.

I love Charge and only because I can actually counter someone trailing me without relying on sheer luck even when you KNOW who you're Assassin is. Like I said before, I think stun should be 100% if you get into a chase or you're locked onto your pursuer when you go for a stun. You shouldn't be punished for your pursuer's fuck up.
