Lohan still delivered later in the movie.
Lohan still delivered later in the movie.
I didn't like her at all. Only slightly in the beginning when it was making fun of her drug abuse.
Everything else about the movie was great, except I felt the big climactic action scene was pretty weak compared to the rest of the movie.
It went downhill about 3/4ths through didn't it.
I recommend anyone who likes having fun at the movies to go see this. The movie was less action-packed than I thought but that didn't matter since it was still a hell of a lot of fun. Lohan at the end was just grinningly hilarious.
Less action packed, what the hell? To me, this movie blew Expendables out of the water in all areas. Except for the lack of an automatic shotgun
2hours long and the movie didn't drag at all. I think just about every single scene had either a lot of violence, or some sexy and occasionally naked women.
My only complaint is that the last few scenes of the movie didn't seem to meet the expectations of the rest of the movie. Beginning and middle were great, but for some reason the last part was just "meh".

Superbly Absurdly Ridiculous and Awesome Movie.
Honestly, (going to spoiler it even though this scene was in one of the trailers)
Spoiler: show
edit:
Also, this.
If you liked grindhouse, shoot em up, or any of Tarantino's movies then you'll like Machete. 3 words: GO SEE IT!
I hope "Machete Kills" and "Machete Kills Again" are made into a movie. I don't care about the plot, as long as it's as good in terms of awesomeness.
Better make them soon, since Trejo is north of 70.
he was born in 1944, so he's 66.
Claims his birth certificate. Only he knows the truth.
Just got back from seeing this with the wife. Fucking awesome movie. Small crowd (maybe 12 people) but everyone was into it.
saw it, loved it.
Spoiler: show
I just got around to watching this the other day, I was quite surprised, really enjoyed it. I hated the grindhouse stuff, but this was just awesome.
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=80101Robert Rodriguez just took to the Hall H stage at the San Diego Comic-Con to reveal that Machete is set to return to theaters with two sequels (as have been teased since the very first Grindhouse faux-trailer).
"Both 'Machete' sequels have been greenlit," says Rodriguez, though he added that the first one is currently the only one guaranteed to have a full-length film involved. The third will exist (for the time being) only in trailer form.
To be titled Machete Kills, the sequel will include fake footage for the third film, now titled Machete Kills Again... In Space!. Rodriguez promises that it will include space babes and a lightsaber style weapon.
No further details are currently available, but Danny Trejo is certain to return to the title role.
I just watched this with my parents a few days ago, we all loved it. cant wait for the sequels
