Heck it's May now and they haven't even updated the Abyssea page... either they will announce something next week or things are getting pushed back.
Ok let me rephrase it then: NIN is getting better after lvl caps are raised? I seriously don't see it, but I haven't looked at NIN since I left it at 60.
And honest question not to flame SAM (yet again): but does it seriously need anything but a 5hit? Unless they seriously add SAM's mini 2h to subjobs then I could see them adding more to SAM. Other than that a needed increase in base DMG on their weapons to keep up with MNK's natural gain is the only thing I see a SAM "need" at this point.
Which brings up another point: if MNK does get their normal skill=dmg rate up on levels, I'd expect the DMG increase (if there is) on the 3rd trial of magians to be much lower for Spharai than for any other relic.
What cap are they maxing at? 90? If so that'll make THF even more obsolete considering they're really only wanted for TH II or whatever. Sure they get armlets/Thief Knife, so unless SE adds a 3rd TH at like 80, they're getting crushed.
EDIT: I haven't played in over 2+ years so I don't know if THF is even hated like it was endgame last time I played.
SE stated they was thinking about adding another TH trait to Thief what would grant them TH5 with gear
TH5, TH6, or a big flat Placebo, its all the same crap.
If Thief is hated then I'd leave that shell because they obviously don't know wtf is up.
nin/whm solo ftw
I've been thinking about doing the same, so perhaps you are right =/
If mob levels don't change and they implement the Lv99 cap into all of Vana'diel would I still be considered gimp if I wanted to stay @ Lv75?
For whatever it's worth, /BLU could also get Attack Bonus, Rapid Shot, Max MP Boost, and Defense Bonus, aside from the already possible Beast Killer, Auto Regen, Lizard Killer, Clear Mind, Resist Sleep, Magic Attack Bonus, and Undead Killer, depending on what spells are set.
BRD/COR will get Evoker's, which should make things interesting >.>b
I dunno, I just have this sinking feeling that SE is going to release the level cap and then not much else ie, new JAs, new JTs. I could be wrong, but it seems like a huge investment into a game that appears to be disappearing into the ether when 14 comes out. I hope im wrong, and I could be surprised...but still, that feeling is just a nagging one.
Someone convince me that /rdm will be better than /sch for whm (though I know it isn't). Tired of rdm thinking they don't need to refresh me because I'm /sch....
