Hyundai Accent 2010 4 doors 228$ on 60months
Kia Rio 2010 convinience 4 doors 236$ on 48 months
Toyota Yaris 2010 4 door 203$ on 60months (that one seems fishy)
Nissan Versa 2010 4 doors 1.6s 169$ on 60months (that one seems fishy too
Actually, I suggest them because of what I stated earlier. Some people's tastes will not be satisfied by any car currently on the market. I personally love the old CJ-5s, and if I had the time I'd get rid of my 'new' car to fix one up. I've sank a CJ-5 in a lake before (it wasn't on purpose - really!), then drove it right back out and only had to drain the engine and replace the electrics. There is something to be said for simple.
Also why i am only looking at those car is that because i gain like 17.5$/h and i have to pay all my stuff appartment, food electricity etc so i kinda wanna try to keep some money to me![]()
Hyundai's are quality, I learned to drive in an elantra...thing was quick as hell up to a point lol, and thats coming from someone that drives a 300hp mustang now...
also, don't buy a toyota, you're going to run that shit into a brick wall
Of those 4 go with toyota.
Why not just buy a 2001 corolla or something that's been well taken care of? Even if something catastrophic happens and you need to buy a tranny or something you're still ahead. People who drive new cars for fear of doing maintenance confuse the hell out of me.
Total rubbish, really cannot stress enough how much of an effect international safety standards have improved the passenger protection of all cars, large and small.
If you really want to know how big the gap is, you can compare crash test footage like these:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWRYjEd3Wjs
The human body can sustain colossal instantaneous G forces, if the safety cell can maintain its integrity it multiplies your chances of survival of 90%+ of crashes exponentially.
Might be beside the point to the OP, but if you care its worth checking what the safety ratings are for the cars your considering. Its Euro NCAP tests over here, I'm sure theres an NA equivalent someone can name.
shit made a mistake Toyota would cost me 260 instead of 203 lol
I'm in car sales, so here's a few tips.
If you're buying a new car do the following:
Go to edmunds.com, find if there are any incentives in your area for the Versa and/or whatever vehicle. For example in the "north east region" you can get 1.5K rebate OR .9% financing if you qualify (on the 1.8L and Hatchbacks only). You'll need a credit score about 720 to qualify for the .9% most of the time.
Here are some links:
http://www.edmunds.com/new/2010/niss...86/prices.html
http://www.edmunds.com/new/2010/niss...ncentives.html
If you don't qualify for the financing, hit up triple aaa. They offer 3% on auto loans which is better than almost anything you'll get at the dealership.
Never pay a cent more than invoice (for a vehicle like the versa, if you're buying a highend car there's a bit more to it).
If the dealer says they're not making money off invoice, tell them they will be making money off the hold back (Dealers will get 2-3% of the invoice price, depending on car, back from the manufacter after selling the vehicle), kick backs from financing, and they'll be making money off you in service, as well as dealership fees.
Make sure your prices from the dealer include the following: Destination, tax, title, registration costs, and dealership fees.
Now, if you're looking at a $13K Versa, lets do some math
13K Invoice + 740 destination + Sales tax (I live in MA, so i'm using 6.25%) + dealer fees ($444 at my dealer) + registration ($100).
$15142.75
- 7K downpayment
$8142.75.
Now, in the US you need to finance at LEAST $7,500 to receive the special rates, so keep that in mind.
Less rebate (1.5K)
6642.75
over 60 months
110.71
$110.71/mo over 60 months. depending on your interest rate.
Keep in mind with all vehicles, you get what you pay for. The Versa is a soso car and you'd be better off spending that $15k on an old altima.
Hope the info helps, if it's confusing... well it's designed to be but i'll try to explain it
I didnt even look at the date nor did I read it. Three years old eh? Niceee.
I live in Quebec so that doesn't affect me lol
edit :gay 3 new post lol that was for desertigloo
