FFxi win7 64 bit halp :o

Ok after deciding to finally make the switch to pc i downloaded the ffxi collection torrent on a friends reccomendation ,
Now im on Win7 64bit i got the pol eu vista install and everytime i run it i get an Error saying playonline viewer has stopped working ; ; can some 1 please shed some light on this for me ?

Are you using windower? have you updated your video drivers?

Common possible problems

1. Run As Administrator
2. x64 ticker on Windower settings
3. DX isn't loaded (boot MSN or IE and keep them open until you are logged into your character)

Ok tried new drivers and running in admin mode and nada -.-
Am really at a loss as to what to try now ;/

Give me your PC's specs please.

Tell me what settings you have in your GUI for your windower. Delete all your plugins (or move them to another folder) and try and boot it without any.

You probably need the Vista/Win7 POL viewer. It's on the POL website.

Set privilege level to run as admin and turn off User Account Control. Shit will piss you off to no end.

What Olo meant by that, is your integrated graphics chip from the laptop is most likely not strong enough to run ffxi
