Anyone have experience with these?
I just bought a G73 laptop and it's far to big for every bag I've found in stores, going online every forum I see says "get a slappa" basically. These are around $130 but built seemingly really well. Not seeing any negative feedback on them. The one is even fire resistant and notebooke review lit it on fire with lighter fluid.
Since I decided to build some credit out of this, the $130 is high, but doable. So I'm wondering if anyone out there has experience with any of their products.
My dilemma is, the Hardbody PRO case that I was looking at: http://www.slappa.com/hardbody-lapto...2&category=133 is backordered and not due to arrive until late may. This case is briefcase like, somewhat water and fire resistant, and hardshelled. It's a messenger back, and the laptop + power bick & accessories are probably going to run around 10lbs at least. But I won't be carrying it too long of distances.
The other bag they have I was looking at: http://www.slappa.com/MASK-KOA-Backp...2&category=133 is a backpack, and seems to have a TON of room in it. People say it fits the laptop well except the flap with the velcro doesn't come over the top of it. It's also customizable cool colors and inserts but who really cares. This one says it's in stock and will ship sooner. Basically a wait, or don't wait scenario.
This is my first laptop, not really which I'd be better off with (between messenger or backpack). They run the same price, one is hardbodied, the laptop+shit is going to be 10+lbs probably. Basically, do I wait for the hardbody messenger back or get the backpack now with price being equivalent... the laptop fits slightly better in the messenger bag.
