The Eyes on Me wiki was recently changed, putting its secondary CHR mod at 20% rather than 40%. Has there been any testing that I don't know about? I believe the original mod testing was done by VZX, and he isn't known for making mistakes.

If you're killing quickly enough, yes. If you're not killing particularly quickly, I'd argue that it's worth using Elegy to help reduce the burden on your healer.

This is a really good guide for solo levelling BLM. You can pretty much apply all the information to SCH, but, especially at lower levels, you're probably best to aim a little lower than what the guide recommends for BLM at any particular level.

a Desynth Recipe? (Meaning, like 90% Fail rate and random as shit HQs) or is it a normal recipe simply using a Thunder crystal?

Edit: I only ask cause ive done 10 Synths including 4 Fails, 4NQs, and 2HQs with 73+4 Woodworking >.> (Advanced Synth + Apron) and curious if its either FAIL luck or because its a Desynth Rec.

Edit2: Clearly a random ass recipe but im leaning toward normal Synth. did 8HQs, 5NQs, 4 fails in the end, guess i just had terrible ass luck..

1) The message will say "obtained" for a desynth and "synthesized" for a synth.

2) I've never heard of a desynth using 2 ingredients. '-')p

Of course killing quickly enough means killing every 10-15 seconds or so, in which case you're most likely better off going to mamool, and since they don't stop to mimic spells back, there's almost no benefit of using a /ra on them.

Yes having a bad MAB set on blm or being on a job with less MAB like rdm or sch will make hecate's cape better. Its 2010 though and even majority of mediocore players have easy access to items like novio/sorc ring so you'd have to be so poorly equipped prior to hecate's cape that you have other upgrades you should make first.

Overall it depends how you use your blm, AM2 are not practical to use in every situation and an int cape is likely to provide more macc against anything with high enough int to warrant nuking in resist set (especially if you are poorly equipped).

Its definitely a piece every blm should aspire to have but it would be one of the last upgrades worth making.

Pretty much every newer/casual player is in a Sea shell of sorts, so, yeah. At least, that's how it was on Garuda and Remora. Every gimp and their mother had a Novio.

yea, tried them all and 3 different accounts, same across them all, what's weird is that it actually finishes the load, and you're expecting to pop into vana'diel any moment, and then bam!

Zekka? Don't think it hits that hard, but you can always pretend it does by recasting ss every time you get hit 1-2 times, and overcuring yourself based on how much damage per hit you want to practice for. No aoe tp moves, but it's probably the best you're going to get.

What are you practicing for anyway?

For small-manning T3/T4 VNMs, ZNMs, and a few select MMM NMs generally speaking. And also just to better myself on tanking in general.

I'm going to look into Genbu, Zekka, and Skuld by the looks of it. Genbu might be the only one I have issues with if only b/c I'm broke and somewhat lazy to farm pop items. We'll see though.
