Random Question Thread X: Fucking 99 Level Cap, How Does it Work?

For lack of rdm relic body, I've been skilling my crafts up purely to make a fastcast body via synergy. It may have -2 enmity, but that's nothing really; while relic body is definitely better, I see nothing really wrong with the synergy body.. Could always use your ACP body for it too, if all your other jobs are sorted without one.

-2 enmity won't matter since there's no good reason for you to have it on at the time the spell goes off.

What's a decent place to level bard from 13-20 solo? I have had no luck with party invites and at most I might be able to scrape up a duo or trio if I can get some friends online. The Crag areas have mobs, but they are so spread out.

Sell Serene Ring and buy Fylgya Torque? Concerns:

- Fylgya is less likely to be replaced the next update
- Serene Ring is rare
- If I get the Bastokian Torque, I gain nothing in Enmity reduction; I only gain cure potency
- If something does replace Serene Ring next update (And very possible), I'll probably be out 900k-1mil
- I have no means of getting the CHR ring unless I solo VNMs forever using DRG BLU or SCH, and I don't have the patience for that when I also need stuff from the Vampire and Blob

I see a lot of discussion around COR sub for merit party and after level increase but what is a good sub for leveling? Been reading wiki/asking around and opinions are all over the place. I have NIN/WHM fully leveled for subs but can level RNG if need be.

Is ranged attacking affected by weakness?

Only eyeballing but while weak I seemed to be pissing away more ammo than normal; thought it was unaffected but not sure now.

/WAR and /DNC are the only merit SJ for COR, for now

What sub do you prefer for red mage in campaign? Also, does Uriel beat out other weaponskills for red mage (1v1 obviously)? I was thinking /nin to griffinclaw/joyeuse, but having blinks just lowers damage taken > less exp received so maybe not use them just use /nin for the dual wield? Perhaps /blu? Lol clueless taru, so use to whoring out /dnc on tarudin and other jobs, and I'm bored of it!

RDM/PLD is my favourite campaign combo, if only for the fact I can pop sentinel and make people who are trying to tank mobs angry.

Depends on what you're doing. If you're PUGing it to 75, I would suggest /NIN to ease any possible frustrations from getting blown up because of subpar DD/healers/etc. in your party. If you roll with ultra-conservative players, they may or may not ask you to /WHM or /DNC. If you have a solid party and you're at least level 30, go /WAR. You should really only consider /RNG if you have tremendous accuracy issues, which shouldn't happen (eat sushi, bring a BRD).

If I upgrade 2 OAT magian weapons at same time and both have same item requirement, what will happen if I trade said item to the crate? Is there an option to choose which? Will it select 1 randomly? And hopefully, will it give credit to both?

Have anyone actually tried this?

Were the hat and body actually properly tested to be 5% snapshot? I haven't seen anything showing how much the snapshot is and the visor would probably be a PoS if it was only 1-2%.

I know that you can't have same trial active at once, but are you saying that 2 different OAT trial can't be active at same time (e.g. Dagger and Gun)?

Oh, for the items. I'm not sure, but I'd stand to reason whichever weapon you trade after you get 10 items is the one it upgrades.
