Elvaan do get hit hard with the MP down stick. The thing is from here on in, you gain access to some gear which helps. Depending on your other gear, Z crown isn't stupid for an elvaan if you can get it. You should hit 900+ at 75, any less than that and I think you'll suffer a bit but hMP and cure potency (and /SCH) will help more than any huge Max MP Build. Don't know which events you do/have access to.
Pieces which might help over the next few levels:
- Rostrum Pumps ( these are pretty dated for a WHM but if you have em and the HP to burn they're not bad)
- Zenith Head (I wouldn't recommend the hands/legs except for max MP)
- Walahra Turban - full of win for a couple of sets
- Loquacious/Magnetic earrings (huge boost)
- Errant Cape? You may have the HP/MP cape
- Mahatma Pigaches?
- Morgana's Choker?
Do you have or could get a Dryad Staff or did you go straight for the Teiwaz/Light Staff/Mace+Shield? Dryad (or healing) + staff strap gives you a whopping 70 right there. Do you have MP merits?
For a max MP set (use MP for buffing/reraise etc) - messing around on FFXIAH I get this as close to a max MP set as you could get
Z Crown
Blessed Briault
Hierach's Belt
Errant/Other MP Cape
Z Hands/Cleric's Mitts/Oracle's/Blessed
Z Legs
Rostrums/Mahatma/Blessed
MP Rings
MP earrings
Morgana's choker/ugg Pendant
Hedgehog Bomb
Dryad/Staff Strap
1000 max MP is low if you're in MP gear. I'm hume though but I can hit 1350 ish I think without a second MP ring and /SCH, maybe more. I don't do it often. My idle set is 1047 ish (can't remember, just rejigged set to include Marduk's Head, was 1039) but I'm sitting on a metric ton of cure potency.
My Max MP set includes : HH Bomb, Dryad+Staff, Marduk head/feet, Blessed Briault, Z slacks, Errant Cape, Tamas, Loq/Mag,
Morgana/s
Is runechopper the way to go for a war returning to the game with virtually 0 gil and only r/e gear, but who is guarenteed refresh, haste and double march at all times?
Edit: To start out in that is
I'm currently leveling WHM also (currently 65) and found this very helpful.
I actually have an A Head abjuration sitting in MH. Guess I should get around to uncursing it, and finally pick up Loqu. Earring and Errant Cape in preparation for 75. I already have Magnetic Earring/Blessed, and also Dryad Staff/Nobles/Selenian for Cure potency, I guess I need to redo ASA pants for that too.
Thanks for the help.
My mule got neglected and needs to maintain rank for evaluation by next week for fiat lux. What campaign ops give the most an since i can probably get 3~4 of them in without losing out on fiat lux runs?
Cerb vs foragers? Sam is my 1st melee job. I have cerb for pld wondering should i sell for foragers or stick w/ cerb.
How do I go about dat swapping dances to eliminate the dance delay?
If you do choose to remove the delay just use fillmode to make sure no one is around. If anyone is around just don't move after using. (I have forgotten to not move in campaign many times doing this before and have yet to be banned lol) I'm not sure what .dat it is but you can swap it into the level up .dat IIRC.
While the 20 more MP on Zenith Crown is nice, it really is good because it helps proc medicine/sorc ring. Legs are equally useful for proccing ring. If you have blm you probably have gloves as well, so if you toss on serket/ether you should be able to double dip you max mp/ring proc.
The rest of your max mp gear you would want anyways. Rostrum for fast cast, blessed body for barspells, etc. You're really just making combo macros than attaining new gear.
Also since when are rostrum pumps dated T_T
Cerb is slightly inferior to Forager's, but not enough that I would go out of my way to acquire it. I say this not because 3 attack is insignificant, but because I value my inventory more than the tiny difference in damage.
I'm sorry to say that Campaign Ops are barely useful for rank progression and that participating in Campaign Battles is probably your best course of action. Either way, the best/quickest/etc. Campaign Op is probably going to be Iron Anvil IV, but that is assuming your mule has a craft at 60+. It only asks for two recipes and at 1-star (always), it will give you 402 exp, and like 1000 or so Allied Notes.
Is there any reason to keep your original nation flag? Windurstian flag is just sucking up an inventory slot and don't think it serves any purpose. Same with Imperial Standard.
My end goal was to just have 9-drawer almirah and the 65 slot pantiere, was there any reason to keep either of the above for aura effects?
Just for looks.
They need to give us more room for flags.
I'd suggest Slaughterhouse IV if you have that available. 452xp 1175an for 1 star not to mention you can leech other peoples tags for XP and credit towards a promotion. I use this series of Ops to rank up and maintain my medal for multiple accounts without having to do an actual Campaign Battle.
