Is there a way to cancel a Trial Weapon quest? I apparently thought it would be worth unlocking Spiral Hell at some point, and now that active quest is keeping me from starting the H2H trial.

Okay, this is gonna be a random request..
Has anyone got the music140.bgw file in C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\sound5\win\music\data ? It's the login music, but it's also used in many of the WotG cutscenes, and since I switched it out to the Dawn battle music, it gets a bit odd hearing it everywhere I go.

backup your files next time !
For the Lebros Cavern Assault where you first knock down the walls - does the strength of the walls get lowered for the fewer people you have?
Could a tri-boxed RDM, whm/nin, and thf/nin clear it?
No.
There's a point where you can need only 25+ or so in -easily obtainable- gear MAcc to cover your resist rates so you can take out the Tranquilizer, which is dropping your potential MAB by 20. That's more of what I was asking about, where is that point where it becomes acceptable to swap some MAB out for MAcc, assuming you would be putting Loudspeaker I back in since there's a lot more MAcc gear than MAB available. Even Cat's Claws have either MAB+5 or MAcc+10, it's not an even swap most of the time, so you're gaining more MAcc than you're losing in MAB if you really have to swap a gear slot.
I'm not retarded enough to think that MAcc+2 is ever going to really outweigh MAB+5 on the feet, so please give me the benefit of the doubt there. :[
I know it's difficult not to, but "switch jobs" is the most douchebag thing to throw in there, considering it's not part of the question whatsoever.
Except there's not that much pet macc gear where you have to choose between it and pet mab, like I said. You have cat's claws, augmented earrings, and augmented back. That's it: 16 macc. All the other pet macc gear you should be wearing no matter what, since there is nothing else to put in those slots anyways (ignoring feet which we've established is a bad trade). And I said do the gear swaps before resorting to tranquilizer, its just that most stuff is either too easy to need to make swaps at all, or too hard for 16 macc to be enough. I was thinking cat's claws are a 1:1 trade-off before, but since it is 1:2 that's obviously the first one to trade out. And I did the math for you to find out that even the 1:1 trade-offs are worth doing as long as you make full use of the macc.
Not really, it's not like I said "don't be pup ever, end of story". I gave you a rough guideline for when you should swap in gear, when you should swap in tranq, when you should swap in both, and when you should just plain not be nuking. If you think "you shouldn't be nuking if you are getting a 50%+ resist rate" is the most douchebag thing possible, then you are just looking to be offended.
Are puddings more resistant to sleep/grav/bind on lightsday?
Just got owned 3x in a row.
I wasn't trying to insult you, I was making a more general observation that the BG community tends to correct....sarcastically (to be nice).
If I was offended by it or didn't expect it, then I would go to lollakhzam.
However, I've only been playing for 11 months, only had blm @ 75 for about 5 months, and I don't solo often because I don't enjoy it.
As a result, I have probably only done puddings a grand total of 5 occasions solo, and was curious if this was a common known phenomenon that I was unaware of.
Instead, it simply appears that I got unlucky.
+35 is low. Even with very basic gear...
Igqira tiara +10
AF body +10
Igqira lappa +10
Enfeebling torque +7
For more srs gear,
Genie tiara is pretty cheap for another +1, HQ AF body +2 more. Enfeebling earring +3, oracle's gloves +5, altruistic cape +5, avocat's feet +3 (though I just use Goliard).
Granted you might not expect yourself to land sleep often but bind and grav shouldn't be failing often at all.
