What is the preferred (non-kikoku, non-lolnagi) katana combo? Between obviously accessible things like Senjuinrikio, Isatu, Mozu, and various Kuinas... for all 'round utility.
I like Mozu/OAT.
Would depend on capped acc and not capped acc I'd think. Acc Kuina/OAT combo for uncapped(anything not sushi or trash mobs), and Mozu otherwise.
Best Augments on ASA for SMN would be what?
I was thinking this myself. I think it depends on what else you have augmented Fay/ACP/AMK etc. I might go with Pet ATT and Pet ACC. Not sure. The store TP looks nice for merit BP's. Siphon buff is nice too, but +20mp/siphon isn't really worth an augment slot to me. Movement speed is nice if you kite a lot too.
Movement speed if you don't have it already.Best Augments on ASA for SMN would be what?
Store TP+8 gives 8.3*0.08 = 0.6 more TP/hit, so 8.9TP/hit. 1 TP corresponds to 1.72 damage on merit blood pacts, but I believe decimals are truncated for merit calculations, so whilst you would get some benefit (approximately 1 damage extra per hit) this will not always kick in.
Attack+7 is honestly terrible. I'm doing some extensive testing on Avatar PDIF and the 7 extra attack will be negligible, If you want to know why, check my LJ.
MAcc+7 is pretty nifty, helping land Merit BPs more reliably, and Sleepga if you use it.
Acc+7 should be ignored, Evoker's Spats give more accuracy (+14).
Siphon+20 if you are perfect, equates to an extra 0.2mp/tick assuming you properly ride the recast. Nice piece if you're a Siphon whore.
In other words (my opinion on priority):
1. Movement Speed (skip if you have Heralds)
2. MAcc+7 (this will make your merit BPs do more damage in the long run compared to STP, and helps for Sleepga)
3. Siphon+20
4. Store TP+8
5. Attack+7
6. Acc+7
How accurate do you think "Pet: Accuracy +10" is for Herder's Subligar?
Couse vs Engetsuto @ lv 68? Not sure how badly it'd scale down 2 lvs about to do a pt
Friend had a question about chocobo stats...
"Discernment effects chocobo hot and cold digging, but does it have any effect on normal chocobo digging? & does recpetivity have an effect on both? If you get your chocobo's primary stat to "average" by day 29 the chocobo's appearance changes does that effect the success rates or add any boosts?"
I hope this is a dumb question. Does Hasso's haste modifier scale with your SAM level? A friend extrapolates from the wiki:
That means it scales and is 5% at 35 (+5 STR at the same point)A level 70 and above Samurai will gain a boost of +10 STR, +10 Accuracy, and +10% haste for melee attacks.
Of course as far as I've understood it's a flat 10% the entire time, including among other things Kirshy tests
Only the STR is scaled.
So, have the Magian Trials removed all of the Perdu-ish weapons from the runnings?
Pretty accurate from what I think there was on that I think. It was less than Evoker's 14, but still a pretty decent amount, 10 sounds about right. How accurate do you think "Pet: Accuracy +10" is for Herder's Subligar?
Minimal acceptable stats on fay gax? or is it not even worth it and I should just do Magian Trial wep?
Though wiki says buffs gained from items stay on when level syncing. I just wondered would Allied Ring fall under these too? Since it's lv30, going under lv30 with your sync, won't make you lose the exp bonus?
