I'm curious about this as well. My friend is working on assault ranks to get to Perdu Voulge, but I'm wondering if it's even worth it. And does the double attack Great Katana beat out Hagun? I imagine that the TP bonus beats out the OAT?

What's a "Healty #" for Racc to WSs as RNG? considering all the Accuracy bonus they get. Dusting out RNG need to figure out a good WS set up without overloading on Racc and sacrificing STR/Rattk. Thanks in advance

I suppose it'll depend on if SE actually makes good on the "keep old equipment viable" promises, outside of Mythic/Relic.

It'd make sense for them to allow things like Perdu weapons to be upgraded, because if not, they're basically going to render quite a lot of activities obsolete.

Situationally better if engaged fulltime and WSing freely. If I had to choose one or the other I'd probably pick Hagun for the situations where I'm Med-WSing or TPing off other mobs, given the situations where GKT is applicable.

My laptop with xi wouldn't work during the time I usually spend working on rankups and my medal expired as a result.

far too vague, you need mob type/level etc, which WS , your AGI.

i'm not sure on what exactly slug/sidewinders -acc penalty at 100% tp.

find that out, and add it onto what ACC a melee needs to cap accuracy.

for detonater, you just need w/e r.acc it takes for a melee to cap acc

I didn't rank down; as in lost my medal, but my medal expired one day after I flagged Fiat Lux Op, I was still able to enter the fight. I couldn't get more Ops after though-- had to renew my medal. I hope that helps.

I'd argue hanger being worth it for blu after magian.

How does one install FFXI on Windows7? I went to POL and they said click Setup or Autorun in the CD folder and there's both, and I get some error when I try to. Idk what to do :/


EDIT: Also, if I deactivate my content IDs, will I still be able to log on until the next billing cycle?

I'm probably misunderstanding the problem, but you need to DL a Win7 compatible POL which can be found at http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/dow...l?pageID=media. Then you just install the game like normal.

if you're installing from discs, you may have to go into the file and run the installer application, rather than just having the installer pop up when you put it in (as you would do it in xp/vista). otherwise, use the link gosyac posted and everything else is normal.

That's what I said I was doing. I went into the D drive and clicked autorun or setup and I get an error.

not worth it. get a rune chopper if you have refresh, or magian weapon

how much haste you need for chopper to be worth it tho?

My build will have 23% haste when I ding 75. So chopper would only be 2% haste for a max of a 6% any time I don't have a dnc. i could see where using it w/ a dnc present would be worthwhile though.
