In my first attempt on Monk Maat, Counterstance resulted in my death. Mostly because he used it too.

Also, remember that you can't counter any weaponskills and Asuran Fists will just hit that much harder.

Of course if his attacks are all being countered, he'll also ws less often. Not to mention you'll kill faster, do significantly more damage while spamming hi potions, etc.

Can I have someone make a quick list of commonly fought monsters/NMs/HNMs which have Shared Hate or have Hate Reset moves? i.e.
Horrid Roar = enmity reset
Throat Stab = enmity reset
Some NM+Adds = shared hate
etc..

I've seen pictures with people's status icons being different colors (e.g. Minuet was red, Madrigal was yellow, Paeon green, all instead of the default purple). These are DAT swaps right? If so, anyone know when I can get them? Or how to get the status icons to appear that way? Also, is it detectable by S-E at all?

It kills me that there's a separate .dat for almost every status effect but SE copypasta'd the "music note" for each fucking song and the generic "up-arrow sword/orb" for everything else just about.

I do not have it in front of me, but Dex+1~3, delay-1~3%, str+1~3, mp+20, damage+1~2, and some amount of attack. Not on the same weapon of course. It is a pretty good thing to augment.

Essentially, assuming melees already have RDM/WHM haste, ~6% haste vs 132 Attack. Assuming TP spam isn't a problem, would 2x March always win, or would it ever possibly depend on the melee's total haste/mob's defense?

That's not too bad at all. That's actually what I do with it. My "DD" bard puts most WARs on this server to shame. idk man, it's just a joke job to have fun with. It's a good feeling sitting idle in whitegate with heca gearz and a Great axe, looking like a warrior. Till I bust out the skinflute and get my mazurka on. /checks inc. Plus, I like going brd/war and sturmwind'n the living shit out joke mobs.

it's all circumstantial, but in situations where we're not brd rotating (salvage bosses/6F AR), march/minuet ftw.

pretty sure its 2hr march + haste + non 2hr march (from 2nd brd) so you can do 2 kirins one each using 2hr and having capped haste for both burns.
