So found all my FFXI install discs except WotG. Found like 1 torrent but it's dead.

Any idea how I can get a free version of the EU install files for WotG?

You dont technically nee EU if you edit the registry key to a different region when installing let's say an NA copy.

Altep OP, Goblin's Spider? While I didn't do them at lv35, it's ok at 37 when I did do them, 36 should be fine too. I did have a PL though, so I didn't bother much with keeping shadows up and whatnot.

Another random question:
How many people would be needed to comfortably take down Archaic Chariot in Arropago Remnants? I'm thinking MNK, THF (lolTH) and RDM or should I aim for a 4th?

Edit: Ok, luckilly I've found the WotG install disc, but am now met with another problem.
I downloaded the vista/7 pol from the eu website, installed all my game discs, installed windower.

Clicking POL icon opens pol fine.
Clicking FFXI icon looks like it's loading for a few sec but ultimately does nothing.
Clicking windower icon says "wrong language or not installed".

Any ideas?

The job bonus is there, but it's gimped. Not sure exactly how much it is.

Starting up on my Renagade's last Magian Trial, I need to kill 400 EP+ arcana types, whats generally the best method to go about doing this? I was thinking grabbing 2-3 people with NPCs and burning through the pots/dolls/weapons in RO'meave.

Or, maybe try and find a sky linkshell farming and hitch a ride with them for free kills, I don't see why a linkshell would ever say no to a free extra hand to help them kill a bit faster...

Ro'Maeve or The Eldieme Necropolis (S) sound like your best bets.

On the question regarding Plucking Wings:

If you wanted to 4man, 2DRK + RDM + BLM should be enough to win this. The DRKs can maintain all stuns needed, BLM can keep all adds under control and your RDM is left to Haste and Refresh.

Your main goal is to prevent any Tabula Rasa AMs from going off and adds are easy to keep held here.

Plenty in Necropolis basement, they hardly try to explode, zerk works in your favor and you can do some farming along with the grind.

Alternatively, you can pick other zones with them and reach the same desired effect.

No need to do that, and i'm pretty sure spellcast equips gear in a specific order, regardless of what order you list them in.

I've always needed some sort of equip between rings/earrings when they are the same (2x snow, 2x aqua, 2x communion earring, etc)

I may be wrong, but I personally think Futsuno mitama is by far better than Hagun, even on par with Amanomurakumo, for its ability to have a 5 hit build with just Rajas, Brutal, Ecphoria, and Rose Strap.

Any thoughts on this? Is it better?
