Well pretty sure Soboro is better than Hagun. Pretty sure people said that Futsuno is better than Hagun before, but the reason everyone lol's at it is because the only people who have it got it from Tier 1 Bonanza and they should have just done a relic with the 100mil instead. It isn't better than Amano from what I remember, tho it is a good sword.

You'd lol at this: I want one so bad that I dat modded my Hagun into a futsuno just to fight the urge to bug people about AV all the time. lol

Futsuno is definitely better than Hagun, but most certainly not by a large enough margin to warrant its price(and rarity, TBH).

That said, no GK touches Amano if buffed appropriately, as its the only GK that can actually take advantage of favorable pDIF.

I got laughed at when I said I wanted to start working toward a relic (because it's "too hard"), even considering that currency might become easier to get. Anyways, if AV doesn't get stronger, then hopefully futsuno might not be a pipe dream by the end of the year.

I love Amano, but unless you have a passion for tanking on SAM, save your time/money and perfect your PLM builds.

    For generic use RDM:
    Which tier 1 merits?
I'm leaning heavily towards convert and ice accuracy, but I'm not entirely sure yet.

So someone told me last night after the dynamis megaboss that we were gonna go ahead and leave cause we were short on DDs, and 3 DDs couldn't handle "tier 3" mobs. I asked what "tier 3" meant, I was told that they get tougher as the run goes on (his example was at the start of the run, his weapon skills would take off like 30% of the mob's HP, and later in the run and after megaboss it only takes off like 10%). I've seriously never heard of this before. I've heard of the whole "mobs get tougher after the mega boss" thing, but that I thought that was attributed to people leaving after the megaboss, therefore less people fighting. Does anyone have links to prove or refute this?

So I had a weird WHM melee idea... that might potentially be silly/stupid or cool.

The way Auspice works is each miss adds a certain amount of ACC, right?

What if you "trick" it by blinding yourself with a Blind Potion, then rapidly hitting the mob for many many consecutive misses with Kraken Club single wielded or something, then once you've missed enough you just cure yourself of the blind effect and continue as normal with dual wield club etc?

Wouldn't the ACC bonus built up from all that missing stay with you as long as you kept up Auspice + Afflatus Misery?

Heck, is there a ACC cap for Auspice even?

Does Yarnball pick up Auspice? D:

I dunno, maybe I'm just crazy.

Where is the good spot to pin Feuerunke in Beaucedine Glacier? We tried tonight on the rocks but couldn't get a consistent enough pin to kill him.

We killed him in Xarc easy at the trees by the ramp.

The question is, how many misses would it take for WHM to start hitting comfortably around the 90~%+ ACC range with just pure haste gear?

It would be nice to find out the average ACC+ per hit missed somehow. Not sure how to go about testing something like that though.

The only data I saw was either on BG or KI ages ago.. But I want to say that it was ~45 minutes before the guy hit capped Acc without much help

It is True. you dont need links to prove it. The mobs in dynamis increase in level (and size) as you progress. for example, in dynamis bastok the 1st few mobs you pull are really low level you can take 30-50% of their HP in 1 WS (also, can sleep them on drk w/o any enfeebling merits or gear). once you're past the AH you cant do that, and you can notice that they're of a larger size.

I never payed attention to how many tiers there are but, you can tell how hard they are by looking at their sizes. A good example would be Dynamis sandoria. the 1st few Orcs you pull are alittle shorter than the average hume. but the repops are taller.

I'd still like to see some solid proof. This is the first I've ever heard of this "tier" system for dynamis mobs and I've been doing dynamis for at least 5 years. I've been "sleeper" (either as BLM or RDM) for most of that time, and I've never seen a difference in size, resists (ex: PLD mobs and their cheating Resist Sleep trait act the same to me at the start of the run as they do at the end), damage caused to me, or my damage caused to them.

On the lowest level of the glacier, (J-6) I think, toward fei'yin, right by the tower is an arch (tree, bone, whatever it's made of?). You can run under it, but mobs cannot. Most the time you don't need to run under it, just kite it back and force on one end like you would on a fence. Works for Erebus too.

I dunno what kind of proof you need :/. If its a wiki/BG link I can go write it and link you to it. I dont mean to be rude or anything but its just a fact and is common knowledge for anyone whos done dynamis for such a long period of time that it isnt worth a post or a wiki page. best proof that the mobs arent identical is their sizes (takes 1 run to confirm) or if you must see difference in stats, most unmerited melee can easily use meat in the beginning of the run but they start missing alot as they progress (the level difference isnt small).

I have been a LS leader at some point and I have seen the level difference slow our kills in many occasions. I have done alot of dynamis areas and won them with as few as 13 people so mobs werent just disappearing cos there were 20 melees hitting them.

Sadly I dont have any screenshots from my dynamis days to prove the size thing (all mobs in my few screenshots are too far away) but I do remember that my guillotine would average 1400 damage on the 1st quadavs and drops down to 800ish on the last ones.

    Just trying to help, gl.

I think it's more noticeable as a melee than as a support member. As a SCH, the run is generally constant as far as difficulty goes, but I notice the kill speed staggers. As a DRG, I notice that my work increases greatly throughout the run.
