But seriously, anything other than MNK/WAR, MNK/NIN, and MNK/DNC is going to be so narrow that it's not worth levelling for preemptively. Maybe MNK/THF, but I can't think of anything offhand outside of farming I use /THF for.

With CA, use Gnads (CA Doubles Modifiers). Without it, use Mirage Keffiyeh.

Edit: If you want to double check, so a search for Gnad/Mirage and set the poster to Suiram. He's the one who mathed it out extensively last year.

I would go GKT. Samurai Maat is incredibly easy anyway, I did it at 66 and iirc I used I-wing, and Meditate before 2hring, and he was dead before I'd finished my self-SC. If you don't beat him using gkt and an i-wing, then you either got extremely unlucky or did something incredibly wrong.

My swords are incredibly outdated now still rolling perdu/ifrits. I am aware that kogg blows ifrits out of the water but never really found a dedicated MMM group nor' do I actually know how I would get about to finding the NM. Those maze tablets look so confusing lol they are probably really simple when you know what you are looking at.

With the update coming do you think its worth me trying to get a group of 6 together for this sword and reading up on it or shall I just work on the magic acc magian sword? I know its not an upgrade in terms of strength and other physical stats but the damage and extra MP also the magic acc for things like drainkiss sounds pretty nice also 30mp is decent as I am elvaan weep lol

I would wait for the next update before attempting to get new weapons since they've already shown models for new swords. If nothing comes out that surpasses the current selection, I would work on the following swords:

Perdu Sword/Max damage Sword from trial of the magians
OAT Sword from trial of the magians
Koggelmander

For Koggelmander, you can probably buy the tablet at the goblin NPC if someone put it up for sale. There should be information on wiki regarding the combination needed to pop the Bugard NM for koggelmander, so all you need to do is figure out the number and look for sample tablets that have the numbers you need.

Managed to copy a tabula for Tanihwa not exactly what wiki recommended but the essentials are their and its possible for the sword to drop. Also beats farming marbles for the perfect tabula.

I went in solo to fuck about and it carnaged me in seconds lol, any suggestions on set up and number of people needed?

Question: What are some reasonably high-end (no terpsichore, etc) TP/WS sets for DNC/NIN? It's been a long time since I've even played the job. I imagine Magian trials recently made my Joyeuse obsolete for the job.

May level cor for roll whoring purposes only. Aside from a gun and bullets, I don't want to buy anything I don't already own. That being said, how viable is roll bitch and possibly pulling in a party going to be? Because I sure as hell don't plan on gearing up. Also which rolls are a must and which can I skip?

Also, don't plan on lv'ing any subs I don't already have leveled. Purely roll whore, nothing else.

You'll probably get asked why you're not shooting anything or helping with dmg, or people will just screenshot you as a COR with darts in the gimp/confused/etc player thread. If you're cool with that... yeah, you could probably get away with being in full AF and throwing darts around.
