Get Apollo's first, Aquilo's for paralyze is 100k.
Terra for slow only on whm can wait, most of the time if you NEED whm slow you're /blm and ESealing it, in that case a 10k Kirin Pole is much better.
Auster's is nice, but what are you silencing that requires that much accuracy? The only places where I can see a whm solo enfeebling is Mamool camp and a NQ staff along with a basic enfeebling set is all that you need there.
For other situations you will have a rdm that can enfeeble better than you, and if you don't you're doinitwrong.

(This said, don't settle with NQ staves, just for starters, save gil and get HQ when you can.)

Edit: I forgot about Pluto, get it definitely before Terra/Auster: it will help for Aspir/Drain whne you are /sch and for Sleep/Sleepga as /blm

Limbus/Dynamis are two places I can think of for Silence but yeah it's pretty marginal. /SCH helps a lot. I had some of the best enfeebling gear for WHM before /SCH and you couldn't guarantee landing it. Now that WHM can sit comfortably over 300 skill in enfeebling (and more if you cut some potency) it's worth the effort. Light arts raises enfeebling from 225 to 256 base, doesn't take much to make that respectable. Or, you could go nuts... (doesn't include nashira pants (intentional, I have) and mnd earring)

hey guys, again with the 6 man limbus, whats an effective way to farm chips? i'm hoping to do 2 chips a day, how can i reliably clear a zone with 3 ppl? or 4 ppl, since the hnm zone can be duo'd?
edit: i realize once i start farming omega's on a regular basis i wont need all 4 chips usually, in which case i'll have extra one run? or idk, let me know how it goes with your low man omega farming

Kings and the formors zone can be duoed / trioed by mages. I know the gigas zone has been soloed as well by Kaeko iirc. Could probably solo/duo/trio that one as well. Resists I've personally never done it with less then 3. (Usually done with sam/dnc nin/dnc and brd or cor.

NW - BLM (BLM or RDM)
SW - RDM (COR or BRD)
NE - BLM RDM (WAR or SAM)
    SE - RDM BRD WAR

Parentheses indicate good job choice for an addition if you feel uncomfortable with minimum possible setup. While NE is soloable, getting the gigas that's immune to magic for portal will drastically hinder your chances of success, and the goal is to get chips not stroke penis so regardless of skill I would recommend at least a duo.

could you please give a quick strat for SW? second floor tree seems like it would be a pretty big obstacle, is there a place to kite him and DoT/nuke? for the mimic floor, how would i find the right one? apradar help at all, or is there any trick to deagro'ing them? thx.

also, is it completely random which mob triggers the vortex? (when its not a certain mob obviously)
i've had ppl suppose theres an order to likelyhood of popping vortex, so if theres any info on that i'd appreciate it much.

Drain/Aspir/Sleep/Sleepga? I'd definitely get Pluto's before others (Save Aquillo's cause it's dirt cheap)

It's not often that you'd be using the sleeps (As in, subbing BLM), but Drain/Aspir are very nice /SCH.

1f: Pull the fomor of your race carefully. If you get chests, open time and find other fomor. If you get vortex, go up. Taru or Mithra will require melee sets.

    2f: Sleep/Nuke. Takes about 6 minutes w/o chainspell. Easy.

3f: Any chest will open vortex. Kill nearest, port up. Melee set required.

4f: Pull elementals of day with lamiabane, sleep2/sleep to get 2 of them asleep. Chainspell nuke the third, convert, continue nuking the sleep1ed one. Rest, kill last via sleep nuke.

Bringing a BRD or COR allows you more leeway to compensate for gear inadequacy or player error. If they drop party they can also do sac pulls on 1f to make pulls significantly easier.

    awesome thanks.
For SW, war replaceable with a sam? i'm assuming for that run you just need to zerg down the boss with 2 hrs each floor? what about the charm move for the corse?
edit2: for NE, on the second floor, is there a particular order one should go for the birds in?

Actually, unless you only have one free (and good) blm for NE, you're actually better off having two different people attempt to solo it than having them duo it. As long as you can handle the rocs, which can be a dick sometimes, as well as soloing 3-4 dhalmels at a time, you can actually win it pretty regularly (basically as long as you don't need to kill hyperion, you should win without any trouble, which is a 66% win rate, though it's still possible to win while killing all 3 if you're really good, it's not really that realistic). I've actually never lost NE in 4 runs.

Also, i absolutely would never bring a melee to a lowman NE, as they just make it 100x harder.

Otherwise, yeah, pretty much spot on. There's definitely other combinations that work just fine, if you don't have enough blms or rdms. Such as rdm/sch+cor for NW, etc.

Sam is fine for SE (assuming SW was a typo?).

For NE it doesn't really matter. But if the first one doesn't drop anything, then the other one in it's pair won't either, so go to the other pair. If it drops the item chest, then you know the portal will be by the remaining from it's pair.

Er, why wouldn't you kill the second one for the time chest if you get the portal on the first?

Other person goes later -> their cosmo isn't up for next run. It makes scheduling more difficult and doesn't offer a drastic increase in efficiency(66% * 2 = 1 1/3 chips vs 1 since duo should be 100% with anyone near competent).

Meh, no it's not a huge difference, but it's still better than duoing, even if only a little better. As far as scheduling, you could just duo if your next run is in 3 days, or solo separately if it's in 4 days. Unless you actually go every 3 days, but i don't think i've ever heard of anyone doing that, outside of people soloing for their gil/af+1 items.

Also for SW if you do duo you can pop all chests on mimic floor with only killing one. Little glitch that causes them to not draw in. Pretty much have one person to go pop and have the other ranged attack it from 24.9 distance right as it aggros. Will not draw in. Just need to pop in a certain order which I don't remember off the top of my head but its pretty obvious by just looking.

How do Stone Mufflers/Gorget work? Does it just auto adds +30DMG each to Stoneskin, or does it raise the cap.
Basically, with either on, do you need more MND or Enhancing to reach 380/410. Or is it as long as you are hitting 350 cap w/ Gorget/Mufflers on you get a bonus 30/60

Duoing if next is in 3 days and both soloing if it's in 4 makes more sense, but it's still a -very- minimal increase in efficiency and with the questions being asked odds are they are not top tier players.

Just adds 30. If you're capped before neck/hands you get 410, if you're not capped you'll still break the 350 cap but not by as much.

They add a direct bonus. Don't need extra mnd to get the extra 60 dmg.

On the ffxiclopedia wiki on the.. Vody#*#$ Something page (The Doomed NM on Phanauet Channel) it says "Can occasionally be seen in the water".

Anyone got a screenshot of this or can at least Verify, that'd be creepy as fuck and i'd like to see it myself.
