There used to be a video of a PLD solo straight tanking Jailer of Prudence. I thought it was on youtube but I can't find it now. A bunch of people in my LS don't believe it can be done, and they use twice the people we used to do it with in my old shell. I just wanted the video proof to prove it.

for full usu monk, 8 h2h merits, what things will i need acc food for? once i got full usu i've stopped eatting pizza, but i mainly just do salvage atm. should i still carry pizza around for things?

It most certainly can be done. In an old LS, we'd straight tank with 2 plds, and a few times I'd be solo tanking when the co-tank went down early. So long as you hit utsu recast caps, good shield gear for ichi, etc...it's no different than tanking anything else. If I had known it was such a, supposedly, amazing feat, I'd have Frap'd it.

you can /2004, with PLD/WAR defender/taco/phalanx II/pdt/shield gear + a WHM & RDM to heal them

or pld/blu, whichever is most effiecient. i'd imagine a RDM/BLU would be able to solo tank it pretty well also.

i'm sure there are loads of ways(better too) but thats how we do it, and we kill it with minimum of fuss

Silly pointless question but if someone POS hacked to some unreachable spot in an area, and someone nexus caped to them, would you go to said area? Top of tele crag, etc. Doubt anyone tested this but who knows >.>

don't you need pizza for one of the salv bosses to cap acc?

yea you would land beside them. assuming theres space as you can see when you nexus you will land beside them, theres no set landing spot, simply proximity, meaning it would bring them up to you

Pretty sure pizza + switching around gear is optimal for all salvage bosses, no?

I can't imagine why not. One min, lemme see if my friend's char has nexus, and if it does i'll test it to be sure.

Of course he can't afford $10 for the add ons...

Whatever, i can't imagine why it wouldn't work. If you really want, i can test it in 37 hours when my nexus is up.

I'm past battle the fort S fight in windy S and i can attest that so far all the fights are retardedly easy and can be won 1/1 by a bunch of pre update pups with no weapon on.

Are you talking about the first fight where you have to take down many Yagudos? Because, after that you do need a group or at least a small group. Only ones I've been able to solo after that was Distorter of Time fight and Sins of the Mother from the past Windy nation quest.

Anyone know in particular which .dat is zhay? I don't want all those swaps, just zhay. Used the installer on a blank folder and there's a shitload of dats in here.

Yeah I have no idea of the specific .dats, but I guess you can always switch it back after and try to find the zhay .dats if you can't get them in time.
