EDIT: For the spinoff, I guess its cool shes going for an episode or two. My favorite thing about the original was Jack McCoy and the new ADA (IDK what his name is I didn't follow it that much). I guess they're just trying to make every L&O seem fresh now. Maybe it'll end up being like NCIS:LA where its some special unit or whatever, but that would be kinda lame also.

I liked both of them, but the ending of the second one, fucking wow. I didn't see it coming until I saw the look in that little girls eye at the end, and then I fucking knew. God, I love those come from nowhere left hook endings.

It was sort of a last minute catch though, so I can see it being somewhat rushed. It was mentioned at the beginning, so I guess it was somewhat foreshadowing.

Also, that preview for next week has me hooked. Ugh, I hate the waiting.

I know I am a bit late, but I enjoyed wednesday's episode. Good story and it made you really care to understand where the story would go from the beginning.

Did anyone else get kind of miffed when George and Elliot/Ollivia argued? When Fin said "I didn't know the doc used those words" or something similar to describe his outrage at being overridden, I was just like D: I know Huang's opinions have gone contrary to the ADA/detectives in the past but, I always feel like they should listen to him more. I really love his character and any episode he is in is guaranteed to be brilliant.

Edit: one of my favorite episodes is the one where George takes that heroine addict kid to get treatment illegally and reports himself afterwards for it.

Still waiting on the supposed romantics that were hinted to come from Elliot and Olivia.. I kinda dread it because of all of what happened in the middle of the series with Elliot moving out/struggling to get back together with Kathy. Also his kids, he has a lot of kids and some are still pretty little. Anyone else have thoughts on this? IE: Would you like to see them get together? I am kinda surprised they haven't ever had a "slip up" or anything yet with all the time they spend together, as he most definitely does spend more time with Olivia than his wife from what we are shown.

Same, but I can't imagine they'd release that if it wasn't somewhat significant to the story of their characters. I just don't think it'd be positive, Olivia is already too personal as is sometimes.

Yeah, her. I just didn't see any explanation between her coming in and Marlowe switching off. I know Jo said she did it as a favor to Jack, but I figured they'd say something such as "she couldn't take it" after that whole hostage situation or something.

I really thought Olivia fucked up telling that woman. I feel like George was completely right in telling her so and making her realize why she did it. There are definitely some things that people are better off not knowing. And wow at the ending. Hargitay expressed interest in having a child, is this the way she gets one? I kind of doubt she will end up keeping the legal rights to the child, but I also doubt she will just give him to a foster home when he came from a somewhat normal family before. I just don't see Olivia having the time to raise a child without a husband or boyfriend in the picture.

Recent episodes have kept my interest very well, I just was kind of irritated at Star being so slippery. It seems every time they deal with the FBI besides George they always get trolled or messed with. (Agent Porter, etc.) Surprised the episode after she got made the kid's legal guardian she still has him. So, I'm feeling like she may keep him.. they seemed to have a good dynamic.

Definitely invoked a lot of emotions. I knew this would happen though, just didn't expect it in this fashion. I knew Elliot was going to know as well.. 'Liv tends to get too emotionally attached, especially on the job. But I don't blame her on this one. I just never thought the mother would revoke the parental rights.. Seems like she's just doing it to fuck with Olivia for telling her about Burlocke. The ending was really sad, and I really hope that she somehow ends up getting Calvin back, but considering he has living grand parents I doubt that will ever happen. Maybe only if Vivian stays on drugs, which she will, I bet.
