Good episode, I like how much stuff they managed to get in. I had to check the clock at one point because I couldn't believe so much happened in just 40 minutes.

I thought the very end was a little overly dramatic. I mean, yes, we all knew it was coming and that Olivia would be super sad. Still, the kid is heading off to his grandparents' house and the mom realizes she needs help. That's good, right?
But then the kid's freaking out and Olivia's like OMG NO and the music's all sad... it's not like he's being taken back to that condemned sh*thole or anything. All things considered, it seems like a pretty good situation for Calvin.

Vivian has gotten help before(sounds like more than once) but always spirals out of control eventually. She'll likely go to rehab, get Calvin back, and then go down the same road again. Who knows though, maybe the Dad was right and it was all Sarah's fault(I doubt it).

On May 14, 2011, TVLine reported that Hargitay will return for a thirteenth season while Meloni has not come to terms with his contract. Hargitay's character will be paired with Meloni's (if he chooses to return) for the first 13 episodes. Her character will then be promoted to a supervisor position with a new detective replacing her. NBC is in talks with Jennifer Love Hewitt to replace Hargitay.

This could be a huge deal breaker for me, lol. Munch and Fin are still amazing, but I don't know if Hewitt is something I would want to watch...

Munch has been absent way too much this season. It makes me sad.

As for Hewitt there has been a huge backlash to the rumor of her casting so hopefully they choose someone else.

Agreed. I would totally watch the show if it was just Munch/Fin, <3 them. But having to deal with someone I might find annoying a lot of the time is what worries me. I guess Beck wasn't so bad when Elliot had her as a partner when Olivia was absent, so maybe they will get someone decent if Meloni signs on.

If they got rid of Munch, Fin, or Cragen ever I would be more upset, lol.

This sucks, but one thing makes me somewhat hopeful. According to this, they are considering John C. McGinley as one of the possible actors to take Meloni's place (Better known as Dr. Cox from scrubs.) I would watch him, I really would. The others? We will see. I just pray they don't pick up the guy who played Brian Cassidy again, I hated him the episodes he was already in enough as it is.

SVU without Stabler? I can't even see it, honestly. Just doesn't seem right. It's like the X-Files without Mulder (and we all know how that one went). Very sad to see that he's leaving the show.

Yes. CI was airing it's last season because USA picked it up (Not sure if it's done yet? I missed the last episode, it's sitting on my DVR.) for one final season. With the original/CI/Trial By Jury/LA all gone, SVU will be the only L&O producing new episodes. Considering the show has had a set formula since it's inception, I am unsure if this will be the last season or not. I am somewhat thinking it will be, unless they happen to find someone who can replace Meloni (Doubt it) and Hargitary when she leaves mid season (Also doubt it.)

In my honest opinion, they should just focus on Munch/Fin. If they/Cragen ever went out as well I would just give up on this show altogether.

All things considered, it didn't feel like a series finale and I was pretty disappointed. The whole storyline all season with Goren and the shrink didn't really culminate in anything relevant and I was expecting more out of his relationship with Eames. Also, the episode felt like every other episode and not significant enough to be the series finale.. The season opener from last season, where Eames retired after firing Goren would have made a better finale, imo..

Lolz Danny Pino from Cold Case. Worst actor on the show. They should have picked up Kathryn Morris instead. She was my fav actress from Cold Case.
