Personally, I can't wait for first contact. When we met aliens or another intelligent species, it will render religion worthless once and for all. What could they do really aside from condemn the individuals? Setup cameras in every church, put tracking devices in every priest? Seriously, this has nothing to do with the religion and it's teachings, which is why it's retarded that the media ties Christianity/The Vatican with these cases of pedophilia.

Just to give you an example, there are a bunch of rabbis around the world who are involved in pedophilia as well - I remember back when I was in NY, every year there was another rabbi who was charged with rape, pedophilia, child abuse, etc. Do these people get as much exposure as priests in the media? Do these get tied to Judaism, or Israel for that matter? What the fuck do people expect? The only thing people can do is to condemn.
