So her astral is like Cammy's ultra and goes through everything?? that's just fucking nuts.

On second thought, that's pretty fucking broken haha. BRB practicing stuffing it on Arakune.
Anyone got advice on trying to combo a standing attack right after you do a dash cancel? I'm trying to do some of these character challenges but 75% of the time I do the dash, let get of my stick, and hit an attack, nothing occurs. I just can't get the timing down since I have to center the stick earlier than I assume I should.
Some of the challenges that ask you to dash (non-cancel) even when it's not needed to continue the combo tick me off. I've done this stupid combo for Jin's challenge nine times now and they all were considered a failure because I didn't dash up to my opponent before I hit 6B since I didn't need to as he was right in my bloody face prior to the 6B. What's worse is that I can't just hold forward from the dash for the 6B also, it has to be the walking 6B attack even though both of them are identical for Jin aside from increased momentum on the dash version. Bloody hatin' this.
Slightly off topic but has anyone seen this?

IGN didn't like it: http://ds.ign.com/articles/111/1110046p1.html
And wtf at those load times, game runs off an SD card, shit should be instant. Hell, even CS loads its matches faster off the disc.
I do say though, if it was ever released as a PS minis I'd buy it just for the novelty aspect of it.
Only if you charge to 3. If you watch the video, Lambda's move still interrupts it at 2, but yeah, on a 3 charge she's invincible during the rush, so you're pretty much fucked.
Also, if you're in Unlimited form, pushing R2 causes Makoto to throw an acorn up into the air that homes in on people and causes them to go into the hit-stun animation. Pretty useful for locking people into combos and creating openings, but idk about it being worth losing her 214A/B/C for.
Being a newcomer to the series, I was just curious as to people's opinions of using the Control Stick versus D-Pad or vice versa. Thanks.
All of us will say this, it is your preference.
However, this is my personal experience and opinion. You WILL get more control with an arcade stick, there are very few talented people that can pull shit on a dpad that seems only doable on stick. Me personally, the stick is the way to go, however you have to grow into it and dedicate yourself to get used to it, but trust me, you will never go back to a dpad if you get good w/ a stick.
dpad for me feels like i have more control
ugh 1 of the problem of using tager online is u get alot of rage quitters. 3 so far today. Do they still penalize you when some other assholes rage quit?
Besides the wikis and forums, is there anywhere that has a conclusive, "all of the story thus far" thing for BlazBlue? I didn't play CT, and i'm reading all the shit I can find, but it's so mind numbingly confusing, yet totally awesome, I feel like I should go back, get BB:CT and try and do all the story related stuff there THEN do BB:CS story mode... and hope I understand all the terms and whos doing what, and why.
Only fighting series I prefer with a pad is Tekken, but that is mostly because I have ONLY played Tekken on PS controllers aside from occassional trips to the arcade back in the Tag days. Other fighting series have gone thru alot of consoles so transitioning doesn't feel as wierd. Blazblue took me a little bit to warm up to with a stick since I played the previous one on pad, but stick is definitely much preferable imo once you get used to it.
so far i'm stuck in 1p mode doing story and challenge mode stuff, but definitely looking for some online matches with my tager in the near future.
Just posting here to say fuck unlimited Hakumen in Score Attack.
Gave up after trying to win even a single round against him over the period of 90 minutes while using Tao.
For controls, Arcade Stick > Dpad > Dualshock analog sticks or w/e you call them. I'd take an arcade stick any day of the week, unfortunately I'm bad enough at the game that I can't justify putting down that kind of money on a controller just for it.
I can't even get past more than a couple rounds in score attack before I end up eating the pavement. Is there anyone that plays on the PS3 that's as bad as I am? I don't mind playing against Mero/Kaisha/etc, but I don't like asking people to throw matches for wins and I'm pretty sure from experiences in CT that I can't beat any of you guys without the luck of god.
I swear Score Attack is on a difficulty higher than 'Hell'.
I just play for fun. Had a few matches against Ovaris earlier, and I only won a single match against him out of 10 or so, didn't bother me at the slightest. Is there anyone that plays on the PS3 that's as bad as I am? (granted I suck against his Ragna when I'm on Tao, but that's because I'm still trying to learn ways around his combo-spam)
If you're worried about fucking up your D-Card beyond repair (not as big of an issue now with Player Matches not showing a win % on the front cover), you can always create an alt PSN account to practice online with.
