Just got this in on 360 from GameFly if anyone is still playing it, tag is CalliTehRDM, I'm still pretty novice at fighting games but am trying to learn some of the technical parts of them and BB seemed like good games for that. I've played BB:CT on PS3 as well and will be picking it up for 360 today, if anyone wants to beat down a mediocre player next week feel free to send me a friendy.
I only now realized Valkenhayn's DLC was out, and I'm loving playing as him. Can't wait for Trinity.
Also, in reference to CS2, I'm psyched if it's a full-blown sequel cause I'm tired of waiting for the conclusion to the Story Mode.

Didn't want to make a new thread just for this. I believe this is a port of that JP arcade version.
Bump! It looks like there were two DLC releases this past Tuesday on XBL that I just found. The first one is version update 1.03, which effectively turns the game into the Continuum Shift II arcade version that was released last fall. Not sure of the specifics on it but there's re-balancing and I think a new announcer system voice. 1.03 is a free download, and is now required for online play. The second, for 560 MSP, is Trinity the Platinum as a playable character. No PS3 release date announced yet, obviously due to the PSN issues.
No clue what either download is like since I just saw it now and have to head out in a few minutes, but if anyone wants to play around later this week hit me up @ CalliTehRDM on XBL.
I started playing BB again since they released the patch. I mained Ragna in CT and CS but I'm trying to learn a new main with CS2. I've been trying out Rachel, but not sure if I'm going to stick with her. I'd be up for some games on XBL. My id is Zerlic.
Huh, apparently they bothered going and adjusting all of the challenge modes to work with the balancing patch. Perhaps they've made some of them a little easier to initiate, as I still need that damned trophy for clearing 100 of them. >.>
Patch isn't up on PSN yet, which blows as the patching service was still running during all this downtime. It's not like Aksys did the 1.02 patch for Valk on PS3 and not releasing the DLC to unlock him until much later. Could have done the same with Plat.
Yeah I might revisit challenge as well if that's the case. I'm toying around with Platinum right now, and jesus christ, lol. This character is just ridiculous in terms of animation, it's a bit over my head but they did a great job at again making a totally unique character. I don't think it's going to be like Litchi-tier but the advanced parts seem really complex.
Also I think the end of Platinum's challenge mission #1 is borked, it's a 22C ground hit like Ragna's 'Not Over Yet', but the stupid CPU-dummy Bang keeps doing an instant tech recover the millisecond it hits the ground even when you use 3C like the demonstration does to knock it down. I'm also pretty slow with double-taps sometimes so it might just be me, someone lemme know if you also have an issue with it.
edit: alsoer anyone have a link to something that explains the actual balance differences between 1.02 and 1.03?

ffffffffffuuuuuuccckkkk, they completely removed all of my Ragna money combos, I have to completely re-learn the character lol, have fun Xerl. Throw > Gauntlet Hades is gone, standing D pushes you way back so you can't just B > D > dash/special anymore.

So did they completely rebalance the whole cast? Litchi and Bang still OP as fuck? Tempted to pick the game pack up if this is the case.
I haven't messed with much but Ragna so far, I'm not sure if I'd say he's necessarily harder, but he's definitely different and I need to learn what cancels into what now since almost none of my old shit works. From what the new challenge missions are giving me it seems like they're trying to have him be less rushdown and more air-combo, which fucking sucks for me since I'm terrible at high-jump cancels.
They finally nerfed the fucking airtime your opponent has when you Belial Edge them, which was solely needed as every Ragna just learned that one fucking combo where they can do that twice in one go for easy damage. I believe they removed a couple of his gatling combos also.
Tao got a much needed boost by adding her old 236B attack in as 2B iirc from the old update notes.
Mainly they removed what you can do from standing D. You used to be able to go from any point in the gatling to 5D, then cancel the 2nd hit of that into almost anything. Now unless it's buried like 5 hits in to a combo it has a giant pushback so almost everything you can cancel into is too far to work outside of Hell's Fang and Carnage Scissors. The biggest hit to me is that his normal throw doesn't cancel into jack shit anymore, and has a massive cooldown to where they're fully recovered by the time you can move. You can do a little bit off his backwards throw, nothing cancels but it's got a bit less cooldown and a bit more airtime for the target. This kills me since rushing in and starting combos with his throw was my absolute money, Caiyuo's going to be pretty pleased with this lol.
add: ugh it also looks like Straight Punch(the 2nd 236C follow-up to his dp) no longer wall-bounces, that's another combo-starter gone lol
Any word on nerfs to Bang/Litchi(fuck skilled Litchi players)/Valk, and most of all, Arakune's free-win if cursed is initiated?
I really haven't been able to find much info at all on the differences between this and 1.02, would be nice if ASW put out like, patch notes or something
