Guilty Gear tier list is just as worst as blazblue with Eddie going S - C - S, Ky C - S - C etc. It just didn't seem that much for a difference because everyone is able to do 80% from one combo, playing with the same couple of people offline, and less videos being uploaded. Blazblue is the 3rd popular fighter in Japan, though the list was a year or 2 ago, GG:AC is 6th, and SF4 is 7th.

god i hate jam, and that is because i always had sessions w/ flashmetroid and other local players here. And if you recall, flashmetroid was the best jam player out there.

Straight out of an exclusive interview with Japanese gaming magazine Gemaga, when asked what his goals for 2012 are, Blazblue producer Toshimichi Mori responded that he wants to make Blazblue 3.

This is a pretty big thing because it's not another subtitled update, but rather the next full blown sequel. As someone who follows these games not just for the fighting mechanics but the story as well, this is awesome news. I was concerned that Mori would be dragging out the spinoff novels and quasi-sequels. Continuum Shift Extend actually has a ton of new content from what I've played thus far, but I really want to see the next big step.

Immediately after revealing his desire to make the next game, Mori added that he wants to make an anime as well. While it seems he's half joking and half serious, he then went on to request that studios please contact him. I remember the first time I cleared Calamity Trigger's story mode, I found myself wishing that a studio would pick up the franchise. I think it'd work fantastically in animated form. A quick bit of a trivia that some of you might not be aware of, but Extend's upgraded Calamity Trigger story mode was worked on by visual novel studio Nitro Plus. Something for you VN lovers to look out for.

Big news for both BB fans and BB haters, if they do get BB3 cranked out this year that means BB will be done in terms of story, which opens up the team for the next GG game and/or any potential GG/BB crossovers.

I recall them saying it was a money issue, like even the small scenes that were in CSII were stretching their budget. BB's story especially is pretty fleshed out and would translate into an anime pretty well, GG's story I was kinda confused on but they also didn't really have a story mode explaining things thoroughly.

GG's story was pretty confusing in general. That's not to say BB's isn't either, but yeah, I think it'd translate pretty well into a show. Do want. Also, am hyped for CS:Extend and BB3, this is looking to be a good start to the year in terms of gaming in general.

I actually had to look up what the hell was going on with BB's story on the internet, once I read about it on BBWiki it 1) made a ton of more sense and 2) was awesome.

BB's story is hard to piece together unless you 100% every character in story mode, and then get the proper endings in both games. Even then, it's probably a little bit confusing, but after the end of CT and the true end I had the "oh, I get it" moment that made CS much easier to understand.

*sigh* gonna pick this up for the sole reason of the story. It's gonna be $40 right? Is noel nerfed again? I wouldn't mind playing this game again honestly.
