He's still the reason I've never beaten Score Attack, lol.
He's still the reason I've never beaten Score Attack, lol.
First time I got to him I remembered how easy he was in CT, I was not amused.
What made me smile was how much a joke Unlimited Ragna was in CS compared to his CT form. Took him out no problem in one go.

So I'm trying to make a push to 1) get back up to snuff in this and 2) actually schedule in all of the games that I have bought(dear god about to add Skullgirls/GGX:AC to this)...I'm probably going to be doing one game per night on the BG Channel stream, possibly two tops, and I wanted to see if enough people picked up a copy of this on 360 to do a lobby once a week or so.
I wouldn't worry too much. Once AC+ drops you won't even bother with AE, SFxT, Mahvel, etc. Although KoF13 is legit enough to still be played alongside AC.
I have the 360 version Calli. I'll see when I can make it online.
KOF has too ass of netcode to make BG lobbies, lol. As much as I'm glad to see FGs doing so well again, this is brutal trying to pencil in all of the games, especially for the ones that I'm still learning from scratch.
Cool, I'll actually probably be on for a bit tonight tinkering around in lab.
I need to take things back up from basics so I probably won't be much more than a mobile punching bag.
I'm just barely past that lol, I got really bad after months of not touching it. They buffed the shit out of Ragna, but also changed the proration values of a lot of his moves so I have to learn all over what combos I can do off of what starters. Also getting back into air blocking, using barrier, and tech rolling is taking a bit, some times I just sit on the ground after knockdown because I forget I have options.
I was playing a bit at PZero last week and I totally forgot about barrier. Was pretty much face tanking with Tager's billion hit points.
I was thinking of practicing with Tager, Bang, and Hakumen. Most of the Hakumen interest is still lingering hard on from the EVO BB Grand Finals last year.
Hakumen is still near the top of the pack in CSE, and Tager's actually like...fully viable for the first time ever, lol.
I may end up getting this soon. We'll see, anything on noel or plat?
Both are solid. Noel got nerfed slightly since CS2, is still stupid with easy mixups into huge dial-a-combo damage. Platinum's a good character, a bit harder to use than Noel imo but really solid damage.
Did Tao's bowling ball get a speed increase at all in CSE? I found myself trolling the fuck out of people with it today in CS2. Interrupted 5 DDs with it. Gotten in the habit of tossing one after I finish a combo, forces most players to either block it or jump, gives me an easy opening.
I still miss the extended input post-victory from CT though, allowed you to pummel for a second longer before it cuts you off.
I'll have an XBL lobby going from 7-10ish pm tonight if anyone wants to hop on
Tager as a real character is terrifying lol
Well fuck me. Ordered BBCSE off Amazon.ca because it was $30 and free shipping, even though I said I wouldn't due to principle.
Am finally done with BBCS after hours of grinding, and my stick was getting lonely.....and I'm getting impatient for Skullgirls.

oh good we ca-PS3![]()
360 version was still $40, eff that.
Spoiler: show
All I've been hearing is that Tao was made more awesome in CSE, so I'm going to be disappointed if that ends up not being the case, cause I've been getting a hell of a lot of rage-quits on my cheese-tier Tao in CS2 ever since I discovered a couple tricks that are VERY abusive on laggy connections with her.
[EDIT] Wtf @ Tager vid. Looks like such an easy combo to pull-off also other than getting the timing on the 2C down, unless they changed his timing a lot from CS2 to CSE.
Not really, that's part of why he jumped from shit-tier to being solid for the first time.
