I can't remember what I am, it's either 8, 9 or 10. I remember reading somewhere though that unless you want to plat the old game for some reason, the game gives you more than adequate GR points during the story of WKC2.

I suppose we could see if anyone still wanted to finish grinding to the last GR and all that though.

I'm not sure what job I should play in II though, I started WC1 as a 2 handed sword user and switched to a shield/spear tank(even though I out damaged lolstr geared 2 handed sword users). I kinda liked tanking in WK1 but I'm not sure how important it was in the higher GR ranks.

Quicker to get GR15 in WKC2. Grinding still is a bit quicker in WKC2, even though Heat Waves 2 got nerfed. Getting to GR30 still takes a huge amount of points, but all you really need is GR26, since there's still more quests after that.

You can also buy DLC ticket thing that gives like 20% more EXP and GR points, both separate, but its pretty cheap in JP version, so I'll assume it'll be same for us. The good thing about it is, is that it lasts a month for cheap price that it is, definitely worth buying for sure though. Not 100% sure on exact % it gives, but I know 20% is the least.

I've pretty much grinded twice in WKC, got one Avatar at GR15 already(ages ago), and I have my 2nd Avatar at GR13. However, all my friends think I'm crazy as fuck for going through that shit twice.

Spear is actually the most OP class in WKC, especially at higher rank... High damage, high ass Def, it's not slow like 2H classes, actually pretty fast, and it fucking has a AC charge skill, making Spear one of the most OP classes in WKC. Pretty much everyone in WKC is Spear now, it became bandwagon like Longsword back in May/June.

In WKC2, Spear is the shittiest class, it got nerfed the most out of all classes. I was hoping for some variety in WKC2, but unfortunately everyone is Axe, Bow, or Mage, since those are top 3 classes in WKC2 now, everything else falls behind. It basically goes like this:

Axe/Bow > Mage > Shortsword > Longsword > Spear/Melee Staff.

So it seems if I want to play as the best DD I should switch to axe? Do you know if WKC2 offers a free respec or do I need to respec again? I've done all 4 of the respec's so far for more points.

I might consider short sword/shield if tanks are needed in WKC2.

If you want highest dmg output, then yeah, Axe is best. Axe has a lot of other use skills as well, not just its damage.

When you start up WKC2, you lose all your rebirths, and you're set back to lvl35, so you're automatically refunded Skill Points, but only the amount you usually gain from being level 35 and 0 rebirths... I forgot how many that is, but I think around 160-180 Skill Points, so you'll be free to choose whatever skills again when you start the game up. Some Skills has been removed and there's also quite a bit of new ones as well.

Also, you get a free Makeover Ticket when starting up WKC2 as well, which allows to change your avatar name and sex as well, but its only upon starting up WKC2, after that you'll have to buy the ticket if you want to re-customize your avatar again.

Not sure why they don't just be upfront with it and call it "White Knight Chronicles I & II". Hope they do change that cover though, looks horrendous, even compared to the first. Never got around to playing the first because I didn't realize how slow the combat was, but that's been sped up in this new release, so I'm being optimistic for it.

Hell the psp game, Dogma Wars, takes the wait combat away for spam x attacks. I wish 2 had this, personally.

Hard to tell if that's a placeholder date or an actual date, since it looks like a chunk of other games are shipping/releasing on the same day. Guess I'll have to go put a couple bucks down on it in a couple days here either way.
