Also they killed Ray Choi from what I hear, in some stupid evil Titans shit. Titans is bad enough, but evil Titans... Choi's death on its own is rather upsetting, but this trend is just getting too obvious.

Man, they need to stop making the whole process of reverse diversification so obvious, its fucking grating. The only thing left for them to do is to kill Jaime(Blue Beetle) and all the legacy lines will be "pure". Actually killing isn't necessary they could just make him extremely unimportant as they did with Green Lanterns John and Kyle or Batgirl Cassandra Cain. To be honest I am not to type to care about equal racial representation, but shit is getting in the way of enjoyment. I can't help but see an ulterior motive every time Geoff Johns does another shake up. (Yeah I know it is more Silver wankery than anything racial, but they are basically one in the same at this point, because the Silver Age is all about whites in America. Especially for DC.)

This seems to be an essay that puts more thought about what I was just saying. Probably takes it more seriously than I do. Hilarious though because it was written before they decided to kill off Ryan Choi - that's how predictable this is.

Without commenting on the way they handled the Sentry, I would just like to say that the combination of Siege #4 and New Avengers Finale probably wrapped up a crossover event more completely and definitively than anything Marvel has done Annihilation or before. I was so sick of the "hey, all that stuff that just happened and we got you real excited about was just the lead in to THIS big event!"

Welllllllll, for one there is the heroic age, but I guess you might not want to count that. There IS Steve's dream about martians or whatever.

Shadowland could be considered a direct effect of Osborn's Dark Reign. I see your point though. Unfortunately Bendis is still writing Avengers, but hey, maybe it won't suck like New Avengers. Maybe it will be good like Dark Avengers.
