Since the OP is from 3 days ago can I assume congress already approved the money overwhelmingly? Usually one of the few things both parties can agree on is they're afraid of pissing off Jewish lobbies.

I don't know, but you are correct. It is almost certain that Congress approved it.

And if we're gonna talk Founding Fathers, i do beleive one of them had something to say on maintaning to close a relationship to other foreign countries.
