FFXI crashes when i zone into desert

Game crashes when i zone into the desert. I did file check of Pol & FFXI files and nothing was found. Any ideas which folder is for this zone that might be causing the crash.

Which desert..

Both sides. Compared the monster .dat and the .bgw and they don't seem to be corrupt. Same size as other people's i'm comparing too.

Have you tried having someone send you the actual zone .dats for WAltep & EAltep? Should fix your issue if so. (Sorry for the late reply, no internet two days on the gogo)
