Yeah, because people who actually believe in this shit never give melodramatic sob stories. See: not the post I was replying to.
You posted, in reply to no one in particular and before the thread even showed hints of derailment, something about the cause and treatment as well as something about urges and that it sucks to be someone who has restless legs.
You can't bluff your way out of this, sorry.
RLS did 9/11.
I'd never take drugs for it, it's just something I have to deal with I guess. It's only really terrible when I'm trying to sleep and I wanna just move my legs a shit ton. If I'm just sitting down watching TV or whatever I don't mind moving my legs. Other people are more disruptive anyways.
Were you trolling when you said you were an aspie too? Because that actually made this believable. Incidentally it also makes it believable that you're just trying to save face now.
The two aren't even connected, assuming post A is true, does not necessitate that post B is also true.
Whether I do or do not consider RLS real is irrelevant, a straw you seem intent to grasp at, but a false one. I posted a fake sob story specifically to illicit a serious response, and got one, and immediately called you on it.
So if I want, I can claim post A was serious, and it changes nothing in my position, if I was so inclined, because the trap was post B.
Sooner you realize you're playing my game the sooner you can feel the fool, cause as I said, I said jump and you keep saying YES SIR.
I've never claimed I had aspergers(it was actually High-Functioning Autisim if I remember correctly, which Aspergers is simply a type of).
Cadsuane however, has caught on, considering I've claimed to have like every disease ever posted in these threads and give "real world experience" accounts for.
Kudos to you.
You'd like that to be the case, wouldn't you?
One wonders exactly why you would make a troll post about how much restless legs affects your life after making a completely serious post about how much restless legs affects your life. For about 2 seconds, then you realize you'd just be trying to pull this laughable "I trol u therefore I'm smarter" shtick which, aside from being patent bullshit, would be an obvious ploy to save face for having the stupid fucking idea you have.
That's pretending your post was a troll post, which is dubious. Sorry, I win, you lose.
Yes, this does exist and it's due to poor circulation. Several long haul truck drivers get this and you know what they do to to resolve their problem? Compression hosiery, It increases the level of lower body circulation while sitting.
What should everyone here to do to get rid of it? Exercise more often or go for walks, sleep plenty of hours, do not drink too much caffeine, and most importantly do not spend hours sitting in front of your computer.

oh noes the rabbit hol goes so deep guyz!
what a cockbite
So you're not a professor either I take it
Or are you an autistic professor with RLS and a degree in political science but the first person accounts are the trolling schtick? This shit is confusing man.
Oh you do win, that's the glory of the safe face card, whoever plays it first wins, and the mistake I made was not playing it immediately. People constantly fall for it too, everyone takes the side of who-ever calls it first, regardless of circumstances, it's pretty damn hilarious sometimes when the person using it is obviously wrong and everyone rallies around them.
That said, on a one on one basis, that public support doesn't change anything. If you had been paying attention I do this a lot in these disease threads, omg my autism is so bad, omg I'm so anemic, omg the RLS affects my life so much, omg I can't stand this ingrown toenail, omg I have eczema too!
So yes, I would like to make that case, and have. Get with the program, the only way for you to win is not play.
Now you're getting it.oh noes the rabbit hol goes so deep guyz!
Education is pretty much the only thing I don't lie about(because it legitimately reinforces my position anyways), and I've never hidden the fact that I'm nothing but an online persona with no real substance.
Kinda sounds a bit like the Sciatica that I was diagnosed with some years ago. From wiki:
Sciatica (or sciatic neuritis)[1] is a set of symptoms including pain that may be caused by general compression and/or irritation of one of five spinal nerve roots that give rise to each sciatic nerve, or by compression or irritation of the left or right or both sciatic nerves. The pain is felt in the lower back, buttock, and/or various parts of the leg and foot. In addition to pain, which is sometimes severe, there may be numbness, muscular weakness, pins and needles or tingling and difficulty in moving or controlling the leg. Typically, the symptoms are only felt on one side of the body.
Doc also said there's occasional tremors in the legs, usually when you're idle or not doing anything. Mine is severe enough that it wakes me up at night. There's a variety of causes. What set mine in motion was a ruptured disk in my back due to someone jammming their foot in my spine. The clincher was poor posture due to sitting in one position for long hours at a time (who's not guilty that reads this forum?). His advice was to see a chiropractor. She was able to get rid of the pain with weekly massage and crack-backs but the tremors still exist. Probably will have to deal with it for the rest of my life till science perfects the arts of spinal nerve reconstruction.
I suppose that's fair, even though you didn't really answer my question. Or at least, if I were going to lie about having a degree I'd pick something besides poli sci.
Haha, okay sorry that was a bit mean spirited.

...oh I'm sorry were you doing chess grandmaster, thinking 10 steps ahead while staying calm, objective, and above the fray?
That always has this effect on me.
Yeah yeah, you've been in it for the long con. You and your cunning plan to troll fake disease threads for years. You almost got away with it too, if not for... blowing the lid on it yourself? Why exactly would you do that if you were as cool-headed as you claim and everything was going according to plan? That said, on a one on one basis, that public support doesn't change anything. If you had been paying attention I do this a lot in these disease threads, omg my autism is so bad, omg I'm so anemic, omg the RLS affects my life so much, omg I can't stand this ingrown toenail, omg I have eczema too!

wow there is a name for this shit. lol
The Xanatos Gambit.

Because admitting it changes nothing, that's the beauty of it, people still buy into it.

This isn't the first time I've admitted it either.
Let's see:
Possibility A: You're actually a comic book villain who has for years been purposefully trolling not even trolling, just taking the piss in (specifically) threads about fake diseases so that one day you could call someone out on falling for a troll post.
Possibility B: You're one of thousands of internet hypochondriacs who believes he has every disease someone presents a vague description of, and who occasionally becomes embarrassed of the stupid crap he posts when the thread turns to ridicule of hypochondriacs and uses a thinly veiled "I was just trolling" excuse to save face.
Possibility A is the correct one. Sometimes I am subtle, sometimes I am not. What I do know, is that the next time this happens, the result will be the same even with this admission, and it's hardly limited to disease threads, I just commended Cadsuane for noticing the trend.
