    GPS help

So I'm now looking to purchase my first GPS. My fiancee uses a Garmin Nuvi 200 and my family is big on the Tom Tom line of GPS units. I was curious to see what BG's take on GPS units is.

My budget is about $300.00 and it would be used moderately (probably on a weekly basis once the summer comes around).

Garmin is top notch, If I were the type to spend money on a dedicated GPS unit, Garmin would be it. Tomtom seems confusing to me and less intuitive. I've played with 2 or 3 Tomtoms, vs. the countless Garmins I've convinced people to get. Shit's just easier man. But don't take my word on it. go to Bestbuy or something to the mobile section and play around with the demo units to see what feels better to you. Make sure whatever you get can be updated with maps via USB or Flash Memory

I personally have a Nuvi 255w I got for christmas a while back and I can't say anything bad about it. Then again I don't need or want most of the fancy crap like bluetooth and whatnot.
