just show when 1 person fucks up it costs alot of time, and at least i can admit that i fucked up, if it was not for my fuck up we would have downed PW with pleny time to spare. we wasted, well i cost us 25-30 mins on Khimaira and Cerberus forms.

Completely true, and as has been noted repeatedly, it should have been a better effort. I wasn't able to make the fight, and I'm sure plenty of criticism is warranted. But Uryuu is, and has always been, a front-runner. He's acting like killing w/ 34-40 with a ton of time left is easy...though for some reason when he was in TAL on Ramuh, they never seems to accomplish anything remotely like that, let alone the kill; that's not a knock on TAL, they were a great LS (remains to be seen if they re-group as well), but they weren't a relic heavy shell and just exhibits that Uryuu talks a big game, but he's essentially Mark Madsen dancing around like a jackass while the stars around him do the heavy-lifting.

for your information i was casting in fastcast/haste/dark magic/int gear and OH YEAH a Jupiter's Staff, i did stun, just the wrong moves and NONE was resisted so stfu on that.

while that is true, from what i read about previous streams, they showed a fail, now thats reason enough for the critisism, why critisize when somone wins? and on top of that, we did kill PW, live on stream and we ADMIT that we made mistakes. we do know how to improve. but having over half your man power attemting to kill something like PW for the first time, mistakes are going to happen.

one thing we did do, we showed to 300+ people between 2 different streams that we killed PW and atleast we kept people entertained while we was killing, for some people its nice seing a linkshell kill something as bad ass as PW

but for most people who are doing all the hating is coz the closest they come to PW items is lots of gil or Mog Bonanza.

I don't even get the whole 40 vs 60 debate on PW. Why wouldn't you take insurance with you on a pop set that takes bloody weeks to get. Its not like a Kirin pop, I'd like to see Eanae work through hours and hours of zeni farming, weeks of working through 3 paths of tier 4 NMs to get trophy's and then walk with 40 people to PW simply because they can?

Have at it haas, just make sure to send us a tell when you guys manage to get around to it.

In any case, it wasn't even our pop set and no popper is gonna risk a PW pop set on the account of ego. At least no one should.

with regards the final form, and what *MIGHT* help improve your strat Tubbies

I don't see any benefit to being in 2 alliances as PW final form moves are pretty devastating and almost instant kill.




Instead it might be worthwhile to split people up into smaller groups and rotate brds.

For example, Instead of having 16-18 people in 1 alliance zerg final form ->Die->Heal up
while 2nd alliance zergs, you could instead have smaller groups zerging.

First Theory
Instead 2x Alliances try 6x Partys.

1. Party 1 zergs and dies -> PW goes unclaimed-
Party1 Goes to Hospital tunnel to heal/recover
while
2. Party 2 Zergs and dies -> PW goes unclaimed
Party 2 Goes to Hospital tunnel to heal/recover
3. Party 3 Zergs and dies -> PW goes unclaim
Party 3 goes to Hospital tunnel to heal/recover

2nd set of partys or previously allianced 3 PTs repeats the above

Less down time in theory, less deaths, could probably have BRDs never die unless you get Avatars popping in hospitals.

You would need more brds.

2nd Theory

Have 1x BRDs +1x COR in partys with 4x SAM/THFs x 5 (so 5 partys with this setup) and 6x

BLU/THFs not in partys

1. BRDs sing Minuets
2. COR does Chaos roll
3. SAMs Meditate
4. Party disbands
5. SAM/THFs SA Tachi:Gekko (need to position PW and maybe have Gekko order)
Each sam shoots off SA Gekko and dies, followed by another sam when PW goes unclaimed
6.Have tractors ready for SAMs
7.Raise them
8.Heal/Recover
9.When SAMs are dead, BLU/THFs (for SA Cannonball and for distance issues) follow same strategy

Both theories revolve around minimizing zombie time and maximizing continued DMG while avoiding unencessary deaths. Of course, as PW approaches 10% HP, you would all need to PT up.

thx cursed, that's some nice input. thinking about it, you're right it doesn't make much sense to have a full alliance go at once. except the guy who's just doing the most dmg, you are usually fine until lamps come back and rape everyone in a few sec. let them rape the remaining 4 dds instead of 14 in about the same time is surely better.

if the sam/thf single strat can pull off enough dmg per sam, it actually seems to be the best strat since you're only loosing that one sam during af instead of everyone. thx.
