    Attention Talesfags

    So I think for a little summer goal of mine, I'm going to play though the Tales series.

    I'd rather not play one Tales game, hate it, and drop the series all together so which one would you people consider the best to start out with?

    TotW games are not good starting place, they are fanservice games and generally more enjoyable if you already know the characters

    If you don't much care about story and can stand some ching chang talk without knowning what the fuck... Tales of Destiny 2 (the real one, released in Japan as Destiny 2, unlike Eternia) is also a must play.

    Because it's not a good 'starting point' you doofus nor is it a 'must play'. It is a solid game though.

    I thought Symphonia was a great introduction to the series. I didn't like Abyss as much but it was still good. I can't decide between Vesperia and Symphonia.
