As Kia said, HBG is the way to go. Bow looks nice with it's infinite ammo and is kinda fun to use, but it's damage and DPS are complete shit. Even SnS is better =\.

I have a lance, a switch axe, and some mix of a light and heavy bowgun. Switchaxe is just OD.

Switchaxe gives me enough swing angle options to not be too concerned. Lance gives me defense, and hbg is on some ridiculous shit. I hate the reload time on hbg though so I have it kind of swapped up.
